How can we improve New Mail?

I don;t want to have to put in an account key everytime I sign in. My husband and I set up a joint account...

I don't want to have to sign in with an account key everytime I log in. My husband and I set up a joint "family" email that we use for the kids' activities, school, joint bills and rewards programs (think promotional % off emails and coupons as well as our amazon prime, etc.) This account key thing can only be linked to one phone at a time so it royally messes up our system. Especially when you have to wait. We already have a password...I don't need yet another layer or more complication in our lives. It's super annoying.

Hi there,

We recommend account key as a more secure form of verification but we recognize that it may not be convenient for everyone. Please note that you can disable account key and return to password sign in. Please see the steps to do so below:

Manage Account Key from a web browser

- Go to the Yahoo Account security page.
- By “Yahoo Account Key,” click Manage.
- Click the toggle to the right of any device you want to turn on or off.
- Optionally, click Disable Account Key at the bottom of the screen to switch back to a password.

Manage Account Key from a Yahoo mobile app

- From your Account Key enabled app, tap the Menu icon Image of the side menu icon.
- Tap the Account Key icon Image of the Account Key icon..
- Tap Manage Account Key.
- Tap the toggle to the right of any device you want to turn on or off.
- Optionally, tap Disable Account Key at the bottom of the screen to switch back to a password.

    I am tired of having to get a verification code sent to my phone every time I log into yahoo mail on my own computer. I do not switch computers and I should not have to get a verification code every single time I log in and out of my email. This is so annoying and I wish you would stop and leave me logged in to my own email!!

    I FIND IT VERY DIFFICULT IN LOGGING IN TO THE MAIL. iT IS CONNECTED TO THE MOBILE & OFTEN THE OTP IS NOT COMING IN TIME.SO DISCONNECT THIS SECURITY FEATURE ANS ALLOW TO LOGIN WITH ID & PASSWORD ONLY

    Im tired of always having to reset my personal settings. and Im tired of not being able to log in with MY PASSWORD, I need a secret code... what if my phone screen were cracked and I don't have access to my phone, I don't get to log on! I need large font and to be able to view my list w/o having to constantly move the whole page! we need a different set up!

    Landline replacement option. I want to stop text recovery via mobile - is this possible without specifying mobile or phone no ?

    Please stop trying to change yahoo. I liked it a lot more before you tried to add my cell phone phone to the mix for secure opening of email on my laptop. You are making me investigate other emails. I don't want to learn another email system. Yahoo was bad enough. Stop changing it.

    Better yet go back to 10 years ago.!
