Help with my account
For the last two days I’m receiving dozens of nonsense emails. How can this be stopped? Thx
Hi there. The more often you mark these emails as Spam, the more you train your personal mail filter to recognize them as such. We recommend following these steps to manage your incoming emails: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/manage-spam-mailing-lists-yahoo-mail-sln28056.html
You can always create filters: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail-for-desktop/filters-organize-yahoo-mail-sln28071.html
If you need additional help, you can go to help.yahoo.com

Your ability to block spam sucks!!!!! It's atrocious what is being allowed into my inbox by obvious spam accounts. Seeing that this seems to be a habitual problem!

yahoo appears to be purposefully allowing in ridiculous amounts of spam in an effort to force their paid email service. I have been a loyal user but am getting ready to retire this account. I hate the news feed anyway and don't appreciate seeing either left leaning articles, or even worse, drivel of no importance to anyone with a brain. How many stupid posts on Jeopardy do we need....

Why arent you interested in receiving reports (allow forwarding an e-mail to yahoo security) that was sent from senders that falsely identify themselves as Yahoo. This should be investigated and violator stopped. The sender is ID'd as Yahoo but when the sender Yahoo is moused over it shows someone else. Got about 3 different ones today, 1st time it ever happened - mis-use of your tradename misleading your customers.

I'm getting tons of spam telling me my McAfee account is expired. This is clearly identifiable as spam, as the sender address is a very long string of random characters followed by org.uk. I don't understand why Yahoo is not filtering this. I obviously can't block the sender because the username is a random string. I tried adding org.uk to blocked domains, but it has not stopped these.

Lately the most blatant spam is getting through yahoo's spam email filters and no matter how many of them I flag as spam they keep appearing in my inbox day after day One common attribute shared by all these spam emails is the from field is this ridiculous combination of random letters and characters which seems to be over 3 lines long before the @ symbol in the email address. It would be nice if I could just create a filter that states if the from address is longer then say 60 characters move this message into trash. I am going to paste in the email address from the latest culprit down below to highlight just how ridiculous this is. See below for the raw email headers in the from field of the latest culprit.

Your "spamware" proffers are utterly useless if you have hijackers like this one reading your databanks. You really won't be in business much longer when people start getting the "information" and realize it is coming through Yahoo leaks.

When you tried to force me to get an email system through you, I did for about a week, and ended up with, literally, a website that spams me constantly. I can usually see a spam sender and deletethem in a matter of seconds. But the one that came through you sends comments from every site it can hijack, and when I saw the "personal" emails about "young girls can squirt", I am going to do my best to make sure people do not come anywhere near you. I don't need support, all of us need protection FROM YOU!

Here’s the deal…. I don’t need you, I can use a multitude of email services for no extra charge to filter Spam. If you’re really intent on ******* off your oldest customers, I’ll bid you farewell. See-ya…MoFo.

We are getting overrun with Spam. I use the Edit feature to move these emails to the Junk folder and Mark it as such. Have tried Settings, but there are no options to increase spam filtering.

I am a school teacher and I wanted to introduce my students to acquire their very first email account. However, there are so many sexually vulgar & sexually explicit spam emails that come into the inboxes on a daily basis that I am too embarrassed to introduce them to the Yahoo email system. It is so sad that more cannot be done to stop sexually vulgar emails that often come into my regular inbox. I have been a Yahoo customer for over 10+ years and I have never been so disgusted with the sexual content that is delivered every day It seems like the perverts may be employed at your headquarters since no one seems to care or stop the nonsense that is infiltrating our inboxes. It is one thing to get a spam email for car repair warranties, lawn care, and general services........but to get a daily email saying s*ck my d*ck, I want to f*ck you, sex secrets of f*cking etc is just utterly repulsive and a shame. I am not sure when Yahoo lost its stellar reputation for having superior service.....but it sure is not the current climate that MOST subscribers experience on a daily basis. The sexual content is so nefarious that children or elderly people can't even use the service for their primary source of congregating and fellowshipping with friends, church members, and family for fear of **** near filthy **** popping up in their inbox. Shameful

Better SPAM filters are needed. Recently dozens of unsolicited email have been ending up in my inbox instead of being filtered out by your spam filters. It appears the spam providers have learned how to bypass your filters. Please upgrade.

STOP with the spam providers you used to screen. I will not purchase your "spam detector" for you to do the job you used to do!
