How can we improve New Mail?

I cannot delete or read my email, it is a nightmare. I can only click on one message at a time and cannot delete it from anywhere

Updated yahoo mail and now cannot read, delete any email. It is unworkable. Can only get basic mail in IE, Chrome is totally trashed.
