How can we improve New Mail?

I don't mind you running ads on the right (I don't pay attention to them anyway) but I do not like the audio coming on.

I guess this goes goes under settings. The ads you run to the right of the emails...I do not mind you running the ads but when you have the sound showing off and have it all the sudden come on where I have to turn it back off...I don't like. Please, if the sound is off leave it off. I would appreciate it.

    I'm just another Yahoo user. Maybe I can help.
    * If you're using Chrome, can you right click on the tab and press "mute"?
    * Or can you open your address book, calendar, notes, etc.? This pushed the ad off the page when I use Chrome.
    I'm at thouser98@yahoo.com, if you have any ideas for me, ESPECIALLY to get back to the previous yahoo email!!
