Vulgar Ads
The ads on the sidebar are distracting and some are gross. Why is there a half naked guy showering while I try to write an email?!?! The ad space is huge and it completely ruins the functionality while making it feel like a spam site. Change it or I'm leaving after 15+ years.

Your ads are finally chasing me away from my yahoo account after 20+ years. You have gotten so tacky and invasive. Your articles are of the lowest content and quality, your ads are gross. If you just had ads that were static and didn't move, that would be better. You supposedly offer ad choice but I have turned off the same ad well over 200 times in the last few days. I don't want to get a new email account after all this time but I am. You've chased me away.

Hi,
I implore you to please stop sending advertisements to vote for the traitor of the American people, Joe Biden. He has consistently put the American people in jeopardy with his policies that put America last. He has endorsed the genocide of the Palestinian people. He has stolen from hard working Americans like you and I to funnel the money through other countries and into his own pockets. He has also publicly molested children, which should be a crime.
I also do not want to see ads for the criminal Donald Trump.
Due to the horrid state of the economy I cannot afford to pay for an ad free service at this time. Can you just show me another ad? -

I’m in process of closing this email out completely. I did the same with gmail when they started their vulgar sex ad campaign too. It’s disgusting. Obviously if you are targeting my interest for suggested ads that is not one of mine. It’s a very poor representation for Yahoo. But hey if you don’t care about losing users I don’t care about closing my account and never using YaHoo again either. Bye

Please check the gender of account holders and base ads accordingly.

The ads have gotten over the top recently. Take them away or at least make them static so they're not moving. I keep closing the ads and sending feedback that I hate them and they just keep popping back up. You realize you're shooting yourself and your advertisers in the foot with this, right? They've actually done studies showing that too many ads are counterproductive. I've spent more time this morning trying to block ads than I have actually writing the emails I needed to write.

Get your *^&%#%^* ads out of my inbox please and thank you. I'm not paying for my internet (and email addresses) every month to facilitate your ability to make extra money. I have had the same email address for 23 years and should not have to go through the hours of time and effort it would require to change my provider and cascade that update out to everyone I know and/or do business with just so I can work with uncluttered inbox. My inbox is there to work for me....not Yahoo.

Thanks Pat! On desktop, if you hover over the ads, an "x" will appear in the top, right-hand corner and you can certainly report any particular ad. We will also share this with our Ads team, who are in charge of the quality. Thank you for letting us know!
