How can we improve New Mail?

NO DATE SORT OPTION IN SENT FOLDER

I do not have a sort toggle when I have my sent folder open. Very frustrating: I cannot sort to the oldest email and the custom sort does not do the work I need it to. PLEASE FIX THIS.
