Back to wordwrap in Calendar, please.
Please restore wordwrap in Calendar titles so I don't have to click on something to see the full text. Truncated items don't show my flags or tags either until I click on the item to expand it. So inconvenient.

Notes partial search does not work
In Yahoo Notes partial search does not work. there should be option to match full word or partial match.
A note as YahooMail vs search on "Mail" does not give any results.

Calendar display format
Go back to the old Calendar display format. The new format does not display event category colors.

New Calendar is HORRIBLE
What have you done to the calendar? First you screwed up the mobile email app. Now you've messed up the calendar. It is no longer color-coded and is all one color (white) with a light colored outline around each event. It's absolutely horrible and unreadable and now I can't quickly glance at my calendar and find something. I use calendar on my desktop. How do I switch this back? It seems settings that once existed no longer exist.

Yesterday Yahoo changed the format of the calendar with no advanced notice. It is terrible. I called Yahoo support, and she was not even aware of the change. As a result, she was unable tell me if the old format is available. I now doubt it.
Because of the format the vertical spacing causes the cell for each day to be condensed. As a result, I can't see all of the activities for one day. This will force me to pull down all the unlisted activities just to search for an available time. Why would I want a product with… -
make calendar full view with all event/task available again
Please bring back the classic calendar view where in the month page, all event/tasks are shown in full, make it easily to find things. Also in the month view you can quickly insert task/event with time order by clicking between existing ones, make it so much easier.
The new view abbreviate all events/tasks and make it very difficult to look for things, and in month view one can no longer insert event/task with time slot and have to remove the default all day toggle. Lots of pain.
Please give user options to go back to the original calendar view. Thanks.

Calendar: Show the entire event name field; do NOT truncate
Calendar: In the Windows Desktop browser Month view the page design showed the complete event name field regardless of how long it is using multiple lines within the box for that day if necessary. Now in the latest page design revision, it shows only whatever characters will fit on one line. FIX THIS - GO BACK TO THE FORMER DESIGN!

Event Headings need to be in full not abbreviated
Calendar headings are abbreviated when displayed as well in printing. This is not useful if I cannot read the entire heading I'm just looking at the 1st or 2nd word of each entry. Please do not abbreviate the event titles.

Monthly calendar needs to show appointment details
Change in month view is horrible. Calendar is useless if I want to see my events and appointments in monthly view. Only shows times an event is entered for a given day without relevant content (e.g., Joe’s Birthday, Dr. Smith appointment, Our Anniversary - don’t be late, Interview at 8:45, 9:15 am feed parking meter). None of that would show because calendar doesn’t allow a user to tailor to a useful setting. Appointments that are not on the half hour Do Not Show on Yahoo Calendar monthly view.

restore the old calendar monthly view that shows the entire text of an event
i'm very upset with the new monthly view in calendar that only shows a 4 or 5 word preview for each event. it has made using yahoo calendar impossible and i've begun looking for an alternative to yahoo. please add a "return to classic calendar" option so that you can see (and print) the entire text of each event in the monthly view.

Whoever came up with the idea to change events that we add to our calendars from highlighting the entire title with times to a little dot next to the event title is a moron. Change it back!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting up to five spam emails per day that are Yahoo Calendar events. Yahoo, for some reason, has decided the best way to implement Calendar is to allow anyone and everyone to add events to my personal calendar, making sure that my calendar notifies me when the spam events occur. PLEASE FIX THIS DESIGN PROBLEM. Allow Yahoo accounts to block all events added by others.

Calendar change
Why did the calendar format change? The dark blue shading and black text in month view is small and hard to read. Google calendar is so much nicer along with gmail. Copy them for ideas.

Provide a "NONE" selection as a calendar daily reminder option.

So...When it comes to NOT having an obscuring highlight color on my calendar daily reminders my only option is,,,
'Suck it up butter cup'...Correct?
Why not give a color choice of "NONE"? Is tht too much to ask?

Yahoo Calendar Bring Back Monthly view default option
I've been a loyal Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Calendar user for over 20 years. In over 20 years I have had the default calendar set to monthly view. However, sometime in October of 2025 the default calendar setting switched to weekly view and Yahoo has indicated there's nothing they can do to switch back to monthly view as the default option. Tough to read/see the new calendar background with blue backfill and black text. Please change back to white background or give user an option where we can set our own background and text colors
