I just clicked ten times on the "send" button. The first nine times the screen jumped to some random part of my message. Not sane.
First, the new Yahoo! has to not jump to some other place whenever somebody clicks on a button. It reminds me of a bad electronic voting machine where you click on one name and the machine claims that you voted for someone different.
Then you need to work on the system's response speed. Between my typing letters and sentences ahead and yahoo putting the letters on the page is a 30 second gap. This won't sell, you know.

Enable hide CC and BCC
Please enable hiding CC and BCC. After we display and populate the CC and BCC fields, we need to be able to hide or minimize those fields because of the enormous amount of screen space that they occupy. At the very least, we should be able to hide the field(s) that remain empty, or to display only one of those fields at a time.

Like others I too cannot find a spell checker on this site. In my opinion this new format is a step backwards for yahoo which is a shame because I have been with yahoo for many years.
