Save as a draft
This is rediculous! I had to rekey my very detailed email 3 times because the system doesn't save drafts automatically ... and, there is no way to manually save a draft. Very poor design!

Information from Drafts gone missing
On several occasions, I have had important information from my Draft emails gone missing, without having sent or deleted it. Please help resolve this. I guess it cannot be recovered, but could you verify it does not happen again?
Sometimes when a mailbox behaves like this it’s because of another program or app the account is being accessed from. Syncing issues between the account and a mail app can cause emails to be moved around oddly. If you access the account through a mobile device or app, you may want to remove the account from the device and re-add it to resolve any syncing issues in the future.

Improve the refresh rate of my Draft emails or bring back tabs
It used to be that I could be typing a new email and if I needed to reference the details from another email, I could look through my inbox or go to another tabbed email and switch back and forth. Now if I click away from the email I am typing and look through my inbox for the email, reference it and the only way to go back to the new email is under drafts. But drafts has a horrible refresh rate and often it takes a few minutes for an email I was typing to show up in that…
You can turn on the tabs option in the settings. Click on Settings> More settings> Personalize Inbox > scroll down > toggle “On” the option next to “Message Tabs”.
Changes are saved automatically.

New Message notification
Wondering why while composing / editing a draft I constantly see the red dot that indicates a new message, and often it says "new message" next to the mail icon.
The red dot indicates a new message in the mailbox since you last checked it. It could refer to the new Draft message you’re working on or that another new message has come in.

Using Yahoo Mail Pro, when I send a message and then go to the Sent messages folder, it still shows it as "DRAFT".
Using Yahoo Mail Pro, when I send a message and then go to the Sent messages folder, it still shows it as "DRAFT". If I hit the refresh button, DRAFT goes away. But If I click on the message without refreshing, the message opens up in the "writing" mode again, with the SEND button at the bottom. Has it actually sent the message?

discard draft
I don't know how to discard a draft email while viewing it in the draft folder. ie I open draft folder, click on email to see what it is but don't know how to remove it, so I return to folder view and select the draft(s) that I no longer need and delete them. Can I/how do I discard a draft while viewing the content?
To delete a Draft message without opening it, simply hover over it and click the Trash icon that appears at the end of the message. You can also select it then click Delete from the header.
