delete multiple emails
First Thank you for continuing to provide Free email after more than 20 yrs. To save disk space on the Yahoo servers, consider providing a more intuitive way for users to delete multiple emails with options, not just a few presets. Allow users to specify how many message they can see, delete, save, move, etc. I have thousands of emails I would like to delete to free up drive space, but its too time consuming to do so the way Yahoo mail is currently setup. Its not intuitive. Not turn-key. Thank you

Folder location in search results
"If you look to the right of the search result, there should be either the name of the folder it’s in or the name of the mailbox it’s in. If the latter, you can hover over the name of the mailbox it’s in and the folder location will appear."
The above quote is was made by one of your product specialists in the feedback forum. The last sentence about hovering over the mailbox name does not work anymore (it used to work). Now it just shows "Yahoo/undefined". Please fix. -
Why is there an UNREAD folder - given that unread emails appear bolded in the regular Inbox?
Given that unread emails appear bolded in the Inbox, why is there a separate folder marked Unread???

Historical email address
When entering a contact name, the historical email address takes precedence over a correctly edited and saved contact email address. Also, there seems to be no way to delete that historical email address that is no longer wanted and should not be used.

Moving mail Button (Menu) no NEW FOLDER option anymore
When I click the MOVE button while looking at or have mail selected, the MOVE Window, no longer has a NEW FOLDER options. A stupid move by yahoo and their management/programmers. This why I don't even use yahoo anymore, but once in a great while. GMAIL IS better than yahoo and faster. I can't even find the option to switch back to old yahoo mail UI. Also, people on yahoo posted about this very problem with MOVE and no NEW FOLDER option anymore and I can't even vote on it. Yahoo is getting more and more screwed up.

search
When I use the search for a particular sender by clicking on the search icon it does not tell me what folder the item is in. I use this to sort emails and it no longer lets me know if the email is still in my inbox or I already sorted it. In classic when I did this I could tell what folder it was in.

Show Number of Unread Messages Over 999
Please show the actual number of unread messages in folders with 1,000 or more unread messages rather than showing "999+". I prefer the old version of Yahoo mail.

FIX THINGS THAT DO NOT WORK CORRECTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BRING BACK THE OLDER VERSION OF MAIL, THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS NOT REMOVE VARIOUS FEATURE OF THE OLD MAIL AND FIX PROBLEMS WITH THE NEW MAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trash folder is not being sorted correctly. It does not put all the "unread" messages at the top when "unread" is the sort criteria.
Trash folder does not show how many unread messages there are. Sometimes stuff inadvertently goes in the trash, perhaps based on key words that might be set up in my filters? At any rate, the old mail showed that there were unread messages.

Email from people in address book shows up in Trash - but now no #of emails is listed, I have to actually open the trash folder
I want a notification next to the Trash and Spam folders telling me how many unread emails are in them -- without having to open each folder each time. Too many of my emails go directly to Trash -- even those from people in my contact list, those I have just answered, etc. Not a fan of the new Yahoo mail.

When you move a file to a folder you get an error message
When you move a file from the In Box to a folder, you get the message "Unable to move message to the selected folder" rather than "message moved to .... folder." The link must be broken because it used to respond correctly.

Please make it possible to forward multiple emails all at once without having to do it one by one.
I need to forward 1300 emails all at once (in one folder) or else I will never ever do it one by one.

Views - please either get rid of them
Views - please, either get rid of them - my first choice or let us move them to the bottom of the list (out of the way) and for god's sake, when I close it LET IT STAY CLOSED. I don't use views, I have my own folders. This is just an annoying Yahoo thing.

Viewing Format
I want to be able to hide the "Starred" and "Unread" folder as I never use those folders. I want to also be able to hide the Views folder permanently (it opens up the sub-folders when I come back to the Inbox occasionally). I also want to be able to view my list of emails in a list format that is not separated by "Today", "Earlier this week", "Last Week", "Earlier in January", etc.

Notifications
I use "Folders," and "Filters." When I receive new emails, if it goes to my "Inbox," I get a notification. If it goes to a "Folder" using one of my "Filters," I don't get a Notice. Can you either make all emails generate notices, or create a "Settings" option to enable notifications for Filtered and or emails going to "Folders," or "Sub-Folders?"
