Can't expland the folder column to see long folder names?
In the older version I was able to expand the folder field to view longer folder names. I can only mouse over to see the folder I need. This needs to be added in again.

Please give the option to hide or move the "Views" tab on the left side. I don't use it, I minimize it, but it keeps coming back when I reopen my mail.
Yes, I know a different thread said "we won't be adding this feature" which is either lazy programming, you're too busy working on the next annoying version of Mail to bother fixing this one, or the thread timed out and just got an automatic "Up yours, loyal customer". How about some actual concern for customer requests this time?

Add option to remove or permanently collaps "Views."
I'm well aware you don't intend to do anything to the "Views" section - I've seen your replies to others who have suggested it...

Set another default folder to display on startup
It would be nice to be able to set a default folder or view other than the Inbox folder at startup, I'd like to set the Unread view/folder as the default folder to be displayed on startup.

how do I get rid of the files on the left of the mail? Would give me more room to see the emails vs. having the right cut out.
Files are above the emails, no need to see them. Some might need them but this should be a choice. emails are cut out on the right side. Not what i'm paying for.

Position of 'New Folder' button is foolish.
New Folder button is too prominent. You would place it where it is if people most often created new folders. Obviously that's foolish so your interface is foolish. Fix it.

I do not like this automatic Inbox default from whatever folder you want to be in...
Make it stay in the Sent mail folder when I'm looking for something in Sent mail, instead of automatically going back to Inbox each time I close a Sent message. Have to keep opening Sent folder and starting at the beginning... Very irritating.

Alert tabs in the wrong place
You have little alert tabs on the lower left corner of my email page and I can't or don't know how to get rid of them. They are blocking some of my folders I need to access. I can't get in those folders because these tabs are in the way!

If you mark emails are read in non-current folder, it temporarily marks emails as read in the current folder
Pretend you are in the Inbox folder and you have a folder called "Folder1" with an unread email in it.
1. Choose the arrow next to Folder1 and choose "Mark emails as read"
2. Notice that all unread emails in Inbox are marked as read (incorrect) and Folder1 still has the counter for unread emails unchanged (also incorrect)
3. Select another folder like Spam then go back to Inbox
4. Now the view is correct, with unread emails in Inbox not being touched and the unread email in Folder1 being marked read and the counter being 0 or not shown…

Folder Search Option on the Left Side of Our Inbox e-mails
If we can have a Search Option for our folders on the Left Side of our Inbox e-mails, that will save us a lot of time instead of searching for every folder we want manually

You are forcing me to use the new format by freezing all the folder selections?!
You have essentially frozen my email account by doing this. I do not like the new format, I do not want to use it and I am ****** that you have frozen the folder tabs. I cant delete my mail, spam or even the trash! Yall need to fix this, its bad business to freeze people out of something they have been loyally using for over a decade! If I wanted the new format, I would have switched, leave it alone and stop suggesting that I "upgrade" to a worse version of 1990's AOL!

I was able to do this last year and still have same subfolder names under different folders, why can't I do this now??

It would be nice if you added to the toolbar for when you move an email to a folder if there were a choice on the toolbar that said "add comment"

Using a RIGHT MESSAGE LAYOUT, when I want to put an e-mail in a folder, the list of my folders is highlighted in blue, as an error, and it is impossible to use the ruler to go up and down, I have to use the arrows
