move to folder response number does not work
once we search with the search button next to a recipient in the inbox, then 'select all' the mails with the select all button and move it to a specific folder, the response might say 25 mails moved or 175 mails moved, but actual moved mails might be 5 or 10. the number of mails moved actually needs to be corrected

folders
Folder (part of sub folder is being tagged) name must be tagged to massage and all massages must remain in inbox or sent items as received and sent.
It can be designed to come on top of massage bar and
plzzzz give options to give colors to folders......It would be very helpful to remember that after tagging if some action remains on e mail massage can be taken after some time/or day

1 - Automatic Folders:
I think the Folders feature is good, but it can be enhanced with one important upgrade.
All incoming and outgoing emails (Sent) should be allowed to be sorted into a Folder - to an automatically suggested Folder or manual menu selected Folder. Automatically suggested Folders would be based on the history of the senders' past placement in Folders.
I use the menu to sort incoming emails, but it is a hassle to go back to Sent emails to sort to a Folder after sending.
2 - Sub Folders:
We need sub-folders. That is Folders within Folders.

Organize filters alphabetically
How about an option to arrange filters alphabetically.

Frustrating that building a new filter, there's no option concerning "Mark As Read". It just marks all incoming filtered messages as read. I have no idea these new messages have arrived and are piling up!!
Please add this as a check-box.

Empty spam
About a week ago one of my Yahoo account's Spam folder has been empty, even though it always had junk mail before and my other account still receives junk mail. Sometimes junk mail really isn't so it would be good to get things working again. Did not touch any settings and could not find anything about how to manage the Spam folder.

SPAM not SPAM
Fix the problems with the spam folder getting my email that is not spam.
I have posted this for Yahoo to see it and now convinced yahoo does not read this. I have been marking all the emails as not spam and still more of my emails go to the spam folder. -
amount of unread messages in trash folder
it'd be nice to be able to see how many unread email messages are in the trash folder. you used to have that

Message Layout > List > Sender - Msg Preview - Email id - Folder Name / Color
Suggestions:
1) Please redesign List Layout to include the name of Folder and Sub Folder, right after the Email ID.
2) A different Color for all the Emails already in a Folder.
3) Name of Folder and Sub Folder that an Email is in, when we Open that Email.
4) A 'Do Not Delete' / 'Confirm Deletion' - 'of Emails in a Folder' Option would be Awesome!

delete mail in the inbox after assigned to a folder
please delete or remove the specified email that has been moved to another folder and don't leave it in the inbox. Thank you , if possible.

Email reminders coming to me from my calendar are now showing up in sent folder???
For the first time in 20 years, email reminders coming from my calendar are now showing up in my inbox AND sent folder. So.....when I receive an email reminder, I SENT IT????? What surprises will Yahoo email have for us next? smh

where did all my sent emails go? This is terrible! I keep record of things sent to others through emails, now those have vanished!

Viewing/Searching Inbox by folder
When I click 'Search' it gives results from all folders and the inbox with no indication of where the message "lives'.
It defeats the purpose a bit of the search if after I've done the search I can't see where it is housed.
It would be MUCH more helpful if instead of the results showing "yahoo" to the right of the message teaser, it shows which folder the the messages are actually in. (We already know we are in Yahoo, we don't need an extra reminder, we need folders).

Recover people's accounts instead of wiping out their entire inbox for being inactive
Signed in and yahoo wiped my entire account. Pictures/emails/memories all gone but still somewhere in yahoo's archives for their using. Sure would be nice to have that back....
