Don't place the destination email in the same place as the reply button on the previous screen
When I click reply to an email, the next screen locates the destination email address in the exact same location. Because the mouse is located over the email address, there is a bubble that expands with additional information on that person. This bubble blocks my view of the text that I'm writing to that person. I have to do an additional use step to move my mouse before typing or else I can't see what I'm typing. Options are:
1) Place the destination address somewhere other than where the reply button is.
2) Get rid of the pop up bubble… -
Switch back button not available when I follow your instructions. I had the more settings options however, no switch back at the bottom.
Is there a way to switch back when your instructions don't apply?

Bad UI
Poor UI. When clicking on the reply button, the mouse hits the sender name on the reply page bringing up a huge image of the sender. You cannot see what you are typing. Again - what most people are saying - don't redesign for the sake of redesign.

clendar and mail
Why have you eliminated the ability to go back and forth between a mail item and my calendar? GIVE IT BACK! Your new version sucks.

keyboard shortcut - spacebar and up down keys should retain previously marked mails
Currently in Yahoo mail. we have the following behaviour for marking
multiple messages in the Inbox.Scenario:
Home page of Yahoo! Mail where we see all messages in the Inbox.
Requirement
Select multiple emails and then mark them as SPAM.Using the Mouse we can mark multiple emails and then mark them
as SPAM.When we use keyboard shortcuts as follows
<spacebar> mark current email (e1)
<down key> moves to next email (e2)
however when we navigate to e2 the e1 gets unmarked.

Tabbed message disappears if alone
If I open a message and leave it open and then visit another folder, Yahoo! Mail closes that message tab. This is very frustrating; I left that message tab open for a reason. This problem seems to go away if I have two message tabs open at the same time.

Unread
Unread messages sent to other folders than Inbox are not counted. I have quite a number of folders, and I need them. It's a real pain to have to check the whole list each time.
Seriously, this is NOT an UPgrade, but a DOWNgrade. -
star/flag function
I use the star/flag function a lot and would love to have different colors!

left justify the Archive, Move, ... banner
Left justify the 'Archive, Move...' buttons. You centered them and that requires more mouse movement, bad for carpal tunnel!

Remove "search" from the email subject line in inbox
Why is the search function still right next to every email subject line in the inbox when multiple people have asked that it be removed? And why can I not vote or comment on those suggestions? I am making a new post to reiterate that it is still annoying to try to open an email and get a search instead. Please fix.

"MOVE" Button & Cursor Location
When I click "Move", the cursor should default to the "find a folder" position, so I can start typing immediately, not have to click a second time. It's VERY ODD that you somehow missed this????

Layout when moving mail to folders
I have complained about this already, but now I have a suggestion to add...
I think the white space between the folders you have in your mail is really too much and to make things easier when moving mail to folders, please make the main folder name bold and the subfolders regular, with NO SPACE between them. This will make things faster because you will not go past a folder as I go now because you have to scroll A LOT through the folders... Also make sure the last selected folder is still 'active' when you want to move mail… -
CTRL-Click
CTRL-Click on every other webpage opens the selected item in a new tab, Yahoo mail used to do this too - it's very uselful to scan-read a bunch of emails qwuickkly, delete the ones that are of no interest and then be able to read the rest properly.
With the new interface, CTRL-Click simply "Selects" the item(s).
I'mm sure I'll get used to it, but what were you thinking when you went off-standard like that? It adds a learning curve, for no actual benefit, and it takes away usability. Please reinstate CTRL-Click as every other webpage uses it!

Do NOT hide the SIGN OUT button under name.
Do NOT hide the sign out button under name.
Make Sign Out its own labelled button as well, if you must.
Too many users in my lab just walk away from the computer without clicking, leaving their accounts fully exposed. -
Please reduce the line spacing in the leftmost pane
In the old Yahoo Mail, I could see whether there was anything new in all my folders and in my inbox at a glance. Now I have to keep scrolling back and forth.
