    I do not understand the source of how people are hired for a customer service representative position. Still, as customers, there needs to be a way for WE, the customers, to provide feedback through interactions with them. I hate scrolling through past comments and seeing "REVIEWED," and there are no follow-ups with the customers' issues. Today, I was looking for answers about why I can't block any more SENDERS, and the representative was saying, "Well, it all depends on the sender, or We do not have control over what Yahoo does."     If you're not seeing the option to block senders, you might have reached the limit of 1000 blocked, and you can try to empty that list, by going to Settings>More Settings>Privacy and security (from a laptop or PC browser). Just keep in mind that the block feature is best used for people, since spammers can use spoofed email addresses. Email spoofing is the forgery of an email header so the message appears to be coming from somewhere other than the actual source. This means you might not…

  3. Give ad feedback

    I'm getting unwanted dating ads. I used to be able to give feedback on them and they would stop for other ones that I might read. My husband has access to my email. These dating ads are a problem. I no longer have anything to click on to give feedback that I dislike the ad. Nothing there. Please give back. Would be most appreciated.

  4. INBOX VS. SPAM MAIL DISPLACEMENT

    On any given day, Y-mail slams two or three daily newsletters TO WHICH I SUBSCRIBE into "Spam". But SCAM e-mails for "Car Shield", demanding my money for nothing, go right into my "Inbox". I subscribe to several daily newsletters, BECAUSE I WANT TO ******* READ THEM. What I DON'T want or need are SCAM e-mails for "extended car warranties" that are completely worthless-in other words, SCAMS. Keep trying, and Yahoo mail can be as ****** as Outlook - or worse!

  8. What is up with YahooMail opening in a new browser tab?

    It's extremely annoying! I despise it! I don't want my browser to automatically open a new tab when I click to go to my email. No one asked for this ABSURD RIDICULOUSNESS! Put it back the way it was!

  9. Great SPAM Filters

    I just wanted to say Yahoo Mail SPAM setting are very good. It's shocking how much SPAM I receive, but your filter does a great job of detectng and removing the daily onslaught of SPAM. Great job Yahoo.

  12. Tech Support for Yahoo Customers in Australia

    Yahoo support has been horrendous to get in touch with. I have an email address which I can't log into and clicking the forgotten password link sends a recovery email to a Gmail account which I have lost access to. Now, I require tech support help, and I called multiple international (US) numbers and tried Yahoo Specialist online which just keeps going in a loop back to the main page. I would even have tried to do the premium support, but that also came back as something which is NOT available in my area.

  13. I'd like to remove this down arrow in the circle on the bottom right which takes you to the next email, it blocks what I'm trying to read

    I liked having mostly custom color screens in the IOS app. Now it’s mostly black or white with a touch of the custom color and the custom color options depend on whether you’re in light or dark mode. Can you please change it back???

    They got rid of the ability to attach files from anything other than past emails. No access to IOS file folders, Google Drive, or Drop Box (I think that might have been an option too). Can you please change that back???

  15. Post your email address to send you email

    Last 10 days my email **@yahoo.com started working slow. It shows such messages: " No Internet Connection; You're off Line; The Site cannot be reached." This is with Google browser and Windows 7 Professional. But my Tablet has no problems with Yahoo mail. Nobody discusses such problem on the Internet and Yahoo customer service keeps silence.

    Hello. It can be frustrating when websites don't work the way they're supposed to. If you're unable to access a Yahoo website, but others load just fine, you may be experiencing a DNS issue.


    DNS stands for "Domain Name System." It's a necessary part of accessing the internet. When you type the name of a URL into your browser bar, a DNS will translate that address into a numerical IP to connect you to the intended site.


    • Try accessing the website on another browser or device. If this resolves the issue, you'll just need to make sure your preferred browser is supported and updated to the latest version.
    • Try accessing the website from another internet connection. For example, if you've been trying to reach the site on your Wi-Fi connection, switch to cellular data on a smartphone.
    • If the troubleshooting above fixes the issue, contact your Internet Service Provider…
  16. Improve Sorting Capabilities and Inbox Options

    Cox turned all emails over to Yahoo. In Cox, we were able to sort all emails from A-Z and Z-A-- which made it much easier to see and delete batches. Now you have to choose something to sort on to pull up batches. This is way less efficient, extremely time consuming and is probably clogging up your system with emails that people haven't reviewed. (I get thousands and am desperately trying to get rid of them!)
    Also-- we need a way to easily view emails that are not in folders if you pull up batches. I want to have an…

    Hi there. You can sort your mailbox, by clicking on the ''Sort'' drop down from the top right corner of your emails list. If you wish to sort by sender (A to Z), this option should appear if you have ''Group by conversation'' turned off (Settings>More Settings>Viewing email).

  19. undelivered email

    I replied to an old email and the senders address at 3:05pm.
    I just received an undeliverable notification at 6:14pm.
    Why did it take over 3 hours to let me know my email was not received?
    I understand there are several attempts but this is, in my opinion way too long for anyone to wait before knowing the information sent was not received. Is there a setting that can change this or fix this? Thanks

    Delivery records in the full headers show when each computer received the message. The first delivery is at the bottom; the newest at the top. If you find a large time gap between delivery records, that shows which computer delayed before sending it to the next computer. https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN22026.html

    Yahoo Mail is not performing. In writing an email, my cursor does not drop down to the next sentance when I click Enter. I am using Chrome. I have Window 10
