Customer Representative
I do not understand the source of how people are hired for a customer service representative position. Still, as customers, there needs to be a way for WE, the customers, to provide feedback through interactions with them. I hate scrolling through past comments and seeing "REVIEWED," and there are no follow-ups with the customers' issues. Today, I was looking for answers about why I can't block any more SENDERS, and the representative was saying, "Well, it all depends on the sender, or We do not have control over what Yahoo does." Are you serious? You are a customer service rep who can find information; if you do not know that information, you should seek it out. Instead, she was combative and acted like it was my fault for not knowing. She also stated that she had answered my questions but hadn't. As the previous customers have noted, all your calls are recorded. This happened on 12JUL2024 at/or around 1545 CST. You, yes, your supervisors, who oversee these comments, must wrangle in your representatives because they are doing a disservice to the company. It was almost like I was bothering her and ruining her day with the questions I was asking. I was frustrated since how often can you rephrase these questions until the little light bulb starts to glow with these customer service reps? Of course, not all service reps are like this, but today, I got the one who was the bad apple, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll be waiting with open arms if you want to contact me.

Hi. We're sorry to hear about your experience. It's certainly our expectation and desire that you receive the highest quality service when working with customer support. We're sad to hear that it sounds like you did not. Rest assured that we've captured your complaint and will make sure your experience is shared with others in an effort to prevent this in the future.
If you're not seeing the option to block senders, you might have reached the limit of 1000 blocked, and you can try to empty that list, by going to Settings>More Settings>Privacy and security (from a laptop or PC browser). Just keep in mind that the block feature is best used for people, since spammers can use spoofed email addresses. Email spoofing is the forgery of an email header so the message appears to be coming from somewhere other than the actual source. This means you might not be blocking the actual sender address.
