I have been blocking fraudulent spam from my spam folder quite successfully, recently I have started to receive fraudulent e-mails from sources and Yahoo will not allow me to block senders. I can only presume that the senders have got past your block option somehow and would like you to view the senders to find out why please.###### this was supposed to be a new post, not a reply GREAT WORK YAHOO, YOU ARE TRULY USELESS #######

Why am I getting so many SPAM emails to my Yahoo account. I sometimes get 1 or 2, but it has suddenly mushroomed to 15 or more? There are never any in my Gmail account.

So when you don't like what's suggested you simply lock it up and post "comments are closed". Way to care about what people think.

I have notified again and again what is not spam and it is still going to my spam folder. Who made you decide what I can receive in my inbox or not?

when you have an e-mail open and want to delete, there should also be a pop up to unsubscribe !!

YAHOO: Please post ways to avoid UNWANTED spam emails and popups
Supply Yahoo users a link to assist them. There has to be a way to help remove popups and spam emails -

SPAM tools in YAHOO are USELESS! SPAM uses fictitious source addresses that are generated with each mailing. You guys need to work with other email providers to identify abusive providers and block them while creating a GLOBAL WHITELIST of accounts that VERIFIED EACH TIME AN EMAIL IS SENT and BLOCK EVERYTHING THAT IS NOT VERIFIED FROM THE SOURCE SERVERS.
Yahoo users do not have time to deal with SPAM and NONE OF YOUR BLOCKING TOOLS HELP because THOSE ADDRESSES AND DOMAINS DON'T EXIST AND WILL NEVER BE USED AGAIN!
PLEASE HELP! THE WORLD IS DROWNING IN SPAM! -

You continue to put messages in spam from people who've been in my contacts for years. On top of that when I report them as "not spam", they go into my in box as if they've already been read (they're not bold like an unread email should be). I then get to waste time searching for them, wondering if you put them in yet another wrong folder. And ONE MORE TIME, if you're going to continue to keep putting good mail in spam, at the very least let us know it's in there. The Spam folder isn't something that should be constantly checked for good emails but at least if we knew they were there (and obviously that's not going to change) we'd know to look.

Please make sure you are marking these emails as spam instead of just deleting. Also, if they are newsletters please make sure you unsubscribe from these. We will also share this with our anti-spam team. Thank you!

Can one stop recurrent spam mails, which come back again and again though one deletes them?

I totally agree! In the past several days (since May 10, 2023), I'm only getting 1-5 emails building up in my Spam folder, which is wonderful! I used to have to empty my Spam every 1-2 days because there'd be 20-40 emails in there. I love the new spam filters!
