  3. enable logging in with a password

    My novel idea is to allow me to log in to my inbox from a random computer via a password, without requiring me to have an additional device to send a verification to (which doesnt work because YOU tell me that my notifications are turned off for yahoo on my phone, yet when I check my settings on my phone they in fact are NOT turned off for yahoo, so that just makes you guys appear even MORE stupid) I have had this yahoo mail account for at LEAST 20 years. This annoying bs will likely be the final reason…

  4. My filters I have set up are not working.

    When adding a filter with specifics for the from email, would be nice to have some "help" that lets you know what is and is not allowed when creating a filter. Can you have multiple addresses to one single filter? Do you have to create individual filters for each? I am not able to get my new filters to work and still do not know why. Only ones I have set up years ago work.

  7. Hacker

    Someone has deliberately hacked into my email (***@yahoo.com) and rerouted my mail through Yahoo News. Thi is not only annoying, it interferes with my health care information from the Veterans Administration. My previous contacts with Yahoo have done nothing to correct the situation.

    In addition this hacker has terminated several of my accounts including Facebook, Rallypoint, and a dozen others. It appears to be impossible to contact a human being at yahoo.

  8. no longer works with Google Chrome: login only possible with MS Edge

    In Windows 11, you will not be able to login to Yahoo Mail from Google Chrome. You absolutely must use Microsoft Edge. There may have been times when it was possible to login to Yahoo Mail using Chrome, but with the latest update to Windows 11, that is simply no longer possible.

  9. Spam and deleted messages reappear in my inbox

    Emails that I have deleted or moved to my spam folder reappear in my inbox. Started happening a few days ago. Can't find fix in forums.

    Hello,
    I clean out my inbox by searching emails. It worked before and now, when I search the box comes up with an error.
    It has been like a week or so since it stopped working. Would be grand if this could be fixed please!

  11. Emails will not load

    Emails will not load. Clearly this isn't a new issue and in viewing others that have posted this same complaint I don't see a solution. I am using Chrome and have cleared my cache...still no success. Time to give up on Yahoo I guess.

  12. My Yahoo account seems to have been deleted.

    I have logged into my secondary account successfully within the past few months, and then all of a sudden today the email address is not recognized, and I am not allowed to even try logging in.
    What is more frustrating, is that there is NO way to contact an actual person for assistance regrading this matter without paying a fee.
    I was given no notice that my account would be deleted, and at this point I would really like to know why it happened. I found a list of reasons why YAHOO! deletes accounts, but NONE of them apply to…

    Maybe, make syncing accounts user friendly, instead of in a foreign language.

    I have been a user of Yahoo email since 1999. I never had so much trouble as I've had with it since October 24 this year. Please fix it. As you can imagine I depend on email to do all my work!

  16. All mail message are now showing as read

    I don't know what you've done to the web interface to my account. But all my messages keep coming IN NEW AS READ!!! They no longer show up as unread. And messages I marked as unread so I can find them easier are all marked as read. Now it's near impossible for me to find messages I marked as unread to go back to later. GET THIS FIXED NOW!!!

    Also, the IOS app is ****. Here's why:
    I hate the fact that it selects an email when it opens, even before it loads any new messages. It should select NOTHING…

    Look, I understand the need to make money by linking an email to a company but the least you could do is get your associations correct. ****com is not related to Fry's Electronics, it's related to Fry's Food Stores (Kroger)!

  18. Fix filters

    I don't seem to be able to delete existing filters. When I right click on an email and select Filter messages like this, nothing happens. This may be the thing that drives me over to gmail though I have never been fond of it.
