compact view, GUI - still not great
In general Compact View - not there or non-intuitive from where to set; In Dark theme, difficult to make out read and unread msgs. Msg is there and human sighting those imp unread msgs have become tougher compare to older email. I am missing msgs. Online Internet Personal Email id, has lots of clutter due to so many shopping and ad notification emails. In between those are imp msgs, which sighting has become tougher.

Allow us to choose background colour and font style and size
We need to be able to choose different colours for the background of our mail. Also, allow us some options regarding font style and size. This would make it easier for people with additional needs such as dyslexia or other visual disturbances, to read their emails.

By having a roll back to remove the dreadfull update
roll back the latest update that changed everything then make it optional.
the new ui is really bad with hidden unclear prompts. i have to really take the time to find a stupid small dot in an over exaggerated design that feels like a bad mobile infused ui in my desktop just to locate new mail as its not really clear to the eyes at a small glance.
certain things are hidden and some things are moved.
in order to switch between my work or private email i now have to scroll down to the bottom left, hover over one… -
Prefer the "old" Yahoo layout!
The old Yahoo layout has much better overview, easier to navigate the multiple folders and it doesn't lag!
From now on, please stop promoting the new layout! -
Dark mode doesn't really work
Dark mode doesn't really work, it only makes the canvas dark but the emails are still white.
As a workaround I just put on light mode and use the Mozilla plugin dark reader to enable dark mode. Works the best. -

I have used your email service for years, and frankly, I am sick of waiting for basic features. Why is Yahoo still trapped in the 2000s? Every other major email provider (Gmail, Outlook) allows users to upload their own custom background wallpapers.Your pre-selected themes are stale, and forcing users to look at your curated choices just to protect ad layouts or save server space feels cheap. Undesired changes to color settings
Why did you reset my preferred dark theme? I set it back to dark, but email contents are still displayed in light mode. Please don't make things worse.

Get rid of annoying video ads
The ads are suddenly flashing and playing videos using a lot of data and being a huge distraction. Its making the email page unusable. I'm seriously considering just getting rid of yahoo email because of it. I don't mind static ads, but video of flashing ads are just incredibly frustrating to deal with. I'm not checking my email to watch ads or be distracted by them. Quality
The background became gray, and the e-mail was working very slowly for a few months. Very disappointed. I have been using Yahoo Mail for many years, and now I want to cancel the Yahoo service.

stop stroking your own ego
bring back the good version of yahoo basic with themes and dark mode, stop making new ones. no one needs new layouts or verions. you're not apple you dont need to release a new version of the product every 3 hours. just keep it the way your users like it. silent customers are happy customers. i accidentallyt changed to basic mail and now every time i open mail it shows me basic, the bright mode hurts my eyes and i hate how i cant change it to dark mode. the new version sucks too so dont tell me to switch…

Stationery for outgoing e-mails
I miss the stationery that was provided for e-mails. Working for a non-profit, it enhanced all messages I sent out.
Please restore this function. It was a valuable tool. -
Remove AI generated summary
Please give us the option to NOT have yahoo AI generated email summary as the "header" to my emails.
I pay for extra service from yahoo mail. I find this deplorable!!!

Bring back the old themes and fonts
Bring back the fonts and colors from before, the readability hurts my eyes as well as the colors and fonts that do not match with the writing and color gamma.
