Please stop reporting that the settings are out of date. It is CONSTANT! Or, make it easy to fix it. It is SO annoying!

You’re most likely seeing this from the Windows Mail app. Try removing and re-adding the account to app or contact Microsoft for more support.

This is actually a Help topic. I've probably done something wrong a couple of days ago, and have lost all messages from April 19th to June 2
HELP! I've lost all messages in my Inbox from April 19 to Jun 24. Is there any way I can retrieve these -apart from going to each of my Folders to check??

Search doesn't show what folder the results are from
When I click 'Search', it returns results from all places/folders, eg: Inbox, Sent Items, etc & any custom folders I have created & moved emails to, however it does NOT show which folder the searched item is found in.
When I'm trying to filter items & move them to a new folder, I can't see which ones I have moved & which ones I haven't.
There is no option to only search in one particular place/folder (eg: Inbox only).
If you look to the right of the search result, there should be either the name of the folder it’s in or the name of the mailbox it’s in. If the latter, you can hover over the name of the mailbox it’s in and the folder location will appear.
You can search specific folders by clicking on the arrow in the Search bar and editing the “Search in” field.

The switchback option should be available to all users. If you cannot see the switchback option, this may be an issue with your resolution. Please try lowering your browser’s resolution or scrolling to the extreme right of your screen. The switchback option is available by clicking on the gear icon. From here you can see the settings menu and the link “Switch back to classic” is available at the bottom on this pane, directly under “More Settings”.

Allow classic mail.
It is not possible to switch back to classic mail anymore, even with your instructions. Time to move on to gmail, I guess, right? I do not appreciate the automatic switch to new mail when I have constantly expressed my disinterest.

Please be sure you click on the settings wheel in Mail, not in Help. We have found that some users are trying to make the change to switchback to classic Mail in help.yahoo.com rather than in Mail.yahoo.com. You will not find the option to switchback in Help. You will find it in Mail.

adding a yahoo account
I have a couple of yahoo accounts all are accessible from one screen except one.. I keep trying to add it but it will not, it will switch me and not keep the original screen open if I sign in separately. annoying!

When I log off my main email & go to a sky or to try & help my son, it takes me ages to get back to my own email. Why do you make it so hard
