Open POP/SMTP access again
The ability to send and receive e-mail via the SMTP/POP protocols was the one reason I chose Yahoo Mail. Now that this option has been paternatistically removed, I am forced to stop using Yahoo mail and create new e-mail addresses elsewhere. This means that I have to notify all my contacts about the change. Using the web interface is no option for several reasons: convenience and long-term archiving of messages being the main alternative.

Suddenly I am getting 7-10 spam emails a day, every day..
Although going into the spam folder it's annoying. It was like this a while back, they all are coming from the same source as it's the SAME style and emails regularly FROM: updates@vresp[number].[domain]. Example: updates@vresp43.dealfesta.com. The "number/domain" is different with every email. I did a lot of block sender and it eventually totally stopped but it's suddenly back. Please help. See emails below:

i want my passwords that way. its hard for me to remember all those passwords in all of my accounts. everytime i log in with yahoo mail, this shows up because i cant remember my new password. just give me what i want. if i lost my account, then its on me. give me that option

Know what I do when a site asks me to disable my ad-block or whitelist?
I stop using their site. These ads get more an more intrusive as the flood gates open. Youtube is bad as it is, watching a video and having the feed interrupted by pointless and useless merchandise being offered to me and I hate it. Why is the internet regressing so much? Lead the way, fight for your users - don't try to squeeze money out of us.

mail not getting delivered just for my yahoo mail
I am seeing an issue that my mails are not being delivered to my yahoo account in time. I get a bunch of emails together in the evening instead of the mails arriving as they were being sent. This is an issue and I will have to stop using Yahoo mail as I am missing out on important communication. Please fix this error.

Why do I have to start at your Yahoo news page when I'm logging into my email?

Search does work
Search for email from a sender does not work. It finds one message from 2019 but not the two messages from 2020 from this sender.

After what I am guessing is 20 years +, I am going to be migrating over to Gmail. I have gotten tired of you not recognizing my password, and having to reset it, on almost a weekly basis. Something changed when Verizon took over and not in a good way. So, Adios former reliable friend. I wish you well. -

Just got a message from what they say was Yahoo and that my account was being closed.
Got an email from "Yahoo" stating that my account was being closed and to keep it open I had to click on a link, which I did not. I am hoping this is a scam.

your filters suck! I get multiple emails from weird random names @yahoo.com every day and filters wont remove them!

Deferral (delay) of receiving critical emails needs to be curbed
There are times when critical, time-dependent emails (such as password reset emails from companies like PayPal) need to received in a timely manner, as any one-time code within such message to proceed with the said action is only valid for TEN minutes. In my case, Such emails were only received ONE TO TWO HOURS after the PayPal CS staff has sent them out, thus invalidating the password reset process. This is VERY frustrating and this problem needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY!!
