Just got a message from what they say was Yahoo and that my account was being closed.
Got an email from "Yahoo" stating that my account was being closed and to keep it open I had to click on a link, which I did not. I am hoping this is a scam.

your filters suck! I get multiple emails from weird random names @yahoo.com every day and filters wont remove them!

Deferral (delay) of receiving critical emails needs to be curbed
There are times when critical, time-dependent emails (such as password reset emails from companies like PayPal) need to received in a timely manner, as any one-time code within such message to proceed with the said action is only valid for TEN minutes. In my case, Such emails were only received ONE TO TWO HOURS after the PayPal CS staff has sent them out, thus invalidating the password reset process. This is VERY frustrating and this problem needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY!!

Eliminate the need to "refresh" the main page after deleting email. Deleting at the mail site should take care of it. It used to do that until everything was updated.

Why does yahoo require so much personal data to create a new email account???
I'm getting so very sick and tired of all these online "free" services REQUIRING me to pay for them with my personal info!!! What kind of garbage jerks would do that??? Consequently, I will be going elsewhere to create an email account and will subsequently stop using yahoo for anything. What a waste of a company!!!
And this evil requirement to sign-in to post an idea, which allows this stupid forum to see all of my personal info, is further proof of the scumbag idiots behind yahoo!!!!!

Honestly, you can't improve Yahoo! mail. I've had a Yahoo! email address since 1992. Since then, you keep trying to improve the service, but usually ***** it up so badly that you need to revert to the old format. This latest edition, and trying people to upgrade to a "Premium" account is a complete waste of time. Just be Yahoo! mail. There is no need for a premium account. And yes, I have an ad-blocker, to stop all the ******** you feel you need to cram down our throats.

I KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT MY PRIMARY EMAIL BUT UNDERSTAND THAT THROUGHOUT SCHOOL THIS WAS THEY WAY I COMMUNICATED WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. i HAVE NOW LOST ALL OF THOSE MEMORIES AND PICTURES AS WELL AS CONTACTS. Forcing me to look at Trump's lies and propaganda as a huge splash page ad on your login screen is a really disappointing choice, Yahoo. I guess we know where you fall on the subject of supporting blatant tyranny and corruption.
If the Proud Boys want to look at that **** in their personal e-mail accounts once they've logged in, fine. It should not be forced on all of us. Unless of course you intend to do the same for Joe Biden's campaign with equal screen time for both? Yeah, didn't think so.

I can't receive any emails!
I received an email asking me to confirm it due to the security, where I did,but later on I realized I could not receive any email! I have gone through the procedures recommended by yahoo to resolve the problem, but no measure has been taken!
I will be thankful if you help.

every time i click to read a new mail i get an ad to stop the ad!! dismiss and take me back to basic mail but it just goes around and roun
when I clicke to read mail get pop up about ad free maill ,,,hit "dismiss and take me back to basic mail" ...got to read the same mail and it comes right back up just goes round and round. Ready to drop yahoo mail all together and go with someing else. NOT worth the trouble!!

You wiped out EVERYTHING! Folders, emails, contacts....EVERYTHING! This is THE WORST service I have ever had...and I've had some extremely bad service. Whoever thought this was a good idea should be FIRED.
