I don't want my mails organized according to when they arrived.
I don't want my mails organized according to when they arrived: Today, Yesterday, Thursday, Last week, etc. This information is useless and robs a lot of space for more mails on screen. Is there a way to get rid of this setting?

Allow forwarding pure-links at least for reporting phishes
I can no longer forward phishing emails to their appropriate addresses if they are links-only. I have to write a paragraph, and it usually goes like "Yahoo forced me to write something just so I can tell you someone is pretending to be you to phish, so that's what this is."
Of course, it still ends up in my spam folder... so yahoo isn't actually protecting anyone, just preventing it from reporting. If I log in, and click as slow as a human, then you should know I'm a human and let me forward, at least to the designated report-phish…

Clicking it allows one to see people in your contacts that have emailed instead of scrolling through an ocean, haystack really of other not as critical email It was more than helpful, it was essential - which is why I'm moving to Gmail in hopes they're "Important category will suffice
I've been w/ yahoo since early 2006, the new changes are disgraceful Please bring that back soon. -
Easily delete all messages from inbox
There should be a way to delete all messages from the Inbox. Currently its very tedious and slow to delete the thousands of messages that have accumulate in the inbox. With hundreds of extraneous messages coming in from who knows where each day now, they build up very quickly. The Yahoo spam filter does is not able to eliminate the various ads and other unwanted messages. Please engineer a way to easily delete all messages from the inbox (and from any other folder).

Number of new messages
INBOX (n) indicates there are n "new messages" in INBOX but one has to scroll down through ALL the Folders to check if there are any new messages there. It is an unnecessary waste of time if the latter number is NIL.
Suggestion 1 : INBOX (n+m) where m indicates new messages under
Folders other than INBOX; or
Suggestion 2 : Any other method of knowing "m" without scrolling
down through ALL the Folders even if m=0. -

Please give us back the old page. I dont like this new page and from what I read it seems like others dont ether. At least let us have the option loke we used to and we should not have to have ads which block the email reading page. It takes up too much of the page. Stop trying to fix a good product

Please fix your **** mail client. I have disabled adblock on that site but it still keeps acting as if I have not. LAME!!!

YOU CHANGED MY ACCOUNT FROM YMAIL TO YAHOO dot COM, NOW I CANNOT I CANNOT MY YMAIL dot COM EMAIL!!!! I TRIED TO RETRIEVE AND ACCESS IT BUT IT REDIRECTS ME TO MY YAHOO . COM ACCOUNT! THE EMAILS SENT WERE ON THE YMAIL . COM!!!!

My Yahoo opened in a foreign language; after I signed in anyway, it said "Not Secure."
I would choose Category "Security" if it were available.

Please close the side panel when 'search for emails from (sender)' is displayed
Removing the huge block on the right that displays when the 'search emails from (sender)' results are shown (which is really useful, BTW), it cuts off about a third of the message, forcing one to scroll to see the whole message.
Or add a preference option to display or not.

Pay for basic features? BS
Yahoo has the worst email service on the internet. It gets hacked at least three times a year. I ahve one account someone cloned and sends out emails to contact that are not there anymore on a regular basis. Yahoo has been no help resloving this.
Now they want to charge me to use basic email features because I use an ad blocker. Yahoo fix your constant problem of being hacked before thinking of charging anyone anything.

sick of going back and forth with the mail want the new style to stay and not be told to back the old style. fix it and leave add blockers we installed alone got it
