Folders with new mail in them should be listed in bold. There are no headers on the columns in the new mail view. Old should be an option.
The new mail view is still worse than the old. Folders with new mail in them should be listed in bold. There are no headers on the columns. We should still have the option for the older look and feel. I was given no choice to avoid the upgrade this time.

Stop scanning emails to show ads/deals especially for ad-free paid email!
Yahoo support confirmed that Yahoo performs invasive scanning of email to show 'Deals' etc. even though I am paying for ad-free email, and privacy settings are for no ads, etc.

Multiple fixes needed to the "upgraded" email
- Emails that I reply to are no longer showing up in my sent email. If I compose an email it will show up but not a reply. I have dead lines I have to meet for work (this is my work email and yes I pay for it) and I can no longer show when I sent an email.
- I can no longer search old or deleted emails. This was one of the best features of the old email. Please bring this back. I really don't want to save every single email I send or receive.

You can improve new mail by listening to Yahoo users and scrap it, it is horrible
The new mail is bad in every respect. The format is ugly and the line around the emails is too busy. The fonts are too small, the themes are too limited and are in polarizing colors. It is an unprofessional juvenile downgrade The voices of Yahoo users are screaming to be returned to the previous more advanced platform. This new one is buggy and designed poorly. I pay for Yahoo, even though you raised the price substantially, I should have a choice which version I want to use.

You finally had the*********to do it.
Welp, you finally had the balls to stop letting me deny the "upgrade" (aka obvious downgrade) by just clicking the x instead of either the "upgrade now" or "automatically upgrade next time" traps. There was no reason anything had to be "upgraded" in the first place, it worked just fine as it was and now it's just an obnoxious mess that places aesthetics above functionality. Thanks a lot. (and for the bot that I presume is going to auto-respond to this, that "thanks a lot" was ~sarcasm~)

Use some compression for pinned tabs as there is for unpinned tabs
Use some compression for pinned tabs so new tabs don't seem to disappear. I can only find them if I close other tabs. If I pick "open in new tab", the topic I'm looking for should be visible somewhere on the right, but there is no way to see the tabs that have sadly become "invisible".
Add an arrow or indicator to the right that makes these hidden tabs available to view or move. Right now there is only the "+" to open a new tab, and nothing to show that there are other open tabs available.

I would like to see spam deleted automatically once every 7 days,. The volume that would accumulate over 30 days would be in the hundreds of emails.

Yahoo needs to go back to letting us select our video feeds. I despise not being able to see pertinent news feeds instead of the drivel that has been showing on repeat for the last week.

"TAG" email?
Can you make it possible to "TAG" email? not just folder it.- But have word/topic tags for search ? On FB they made an option for post saves to be tagged by topic type...I REALLY helps tracking those posts in folders
