Allow ME to decide to sign out!
Allow the USER to determine whether or not to automatically sign out. I WANT TO STAY SIGNED IN AS LONG AS I WANT. I am tired of getting the error that I must sign out, having to sign in when I choose "keep me signed in", and having to sign in because your system thinks I've been signed in too long. LET THE USER DECIDE.

ARCHIVE FOLDER IN NEW MAIL FORMAT IS NOT NECESSARY
ANOTHER REASON TO NOT LIKE THE NEW EMAIL FORMAT....WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THE NEED FOR THIS DUMB ARCHIVE FOLDER?????? WHEN I ATTACH PICS TO SEND ON EMAIL, IT CREATES A ZIPPED FILE OF THE PIC AND IT GOES INTO MY DOWNLOAD PIC FOLDER AND I END UP DELETING IT AS IT IS TOTALLY NOT NECESSARY SO IT IS NOW FORCING ANOTHER STEP TO GO THROUGH. WHY DO YOU KEEP CREATING THINGS TO BE "USER UNFRIENDLY" FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS... STOP THE INSANITY!!!!!! THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY CATEGORIES ON THAT LEFT SIDE OF THE EMAIL FORMAT THAT ARE NOT NEEDED!!!!!!!!

Change to the search feature has made my work much harder.
Restore the search feature so that I can search a word and hover over email to see appearance of that word within the message, without having to click and read the entire email. The search feature was much better before.

The new mail won't allow me to send from my QuickBooks program even though I have entered the information in filters. Security and Privacy only allows me to BLOCK emails.

Idea false merged with unrelated issue
Yahoo support should not unilaterally merge two ideas without agreement from the Submitter. I reported an issue and was merged with a totally unrelated issue with comments closed. I had to reopen my issue. This is terrible customer support.

Blocking by pattern
I am getting spam every day and every single e-mail has the same pattern ".......@myip........". I made an improvement suggestion to Yahoo. Let me block all mail where address has this pattern.
Response from Yahoo team?
An e-mail that said, "We merged your suggestion with suggestion in another similar thread." And then they closed that thread. You can't comment on it anymore.
Brilliant. Thank you Yahoo team. It was a strange way to respond to my suggestion, but I got it. It's not going to happen. Right? Well, that's too bad.

why don't I always have the option to select "to" and "from" when searching for an email from a contact?
Sometimes I can narrow a down a search for an email from a contact to "to" or "from" and sometimes I don't get that option, why?
