Hi, i logged in after long time and found my all emails are deleted.. what should I do ? I need my old emails. Help me please

If you have not accessed your account for quite some time emails will eventually be deleted and removed from the inbox. Chances are these messages cannot be recovered.

I'm finding that after a few seconds I lose part of the page it moves up and my name disappears which where I have to sign out.
I would like to see the page remain full always and make it so you don't have to scroll to the right or left. I want my name to show so I can sign out and not close the window. I have Microsoft Edge and I don't know if that is making a difference.

This does sound like a browser limitation. I would suggest making sure your browser is in full screen mode and to try either Chrome or Firefox.

give the ability to separate the alias from the main so the alias becomes its own account
Please make it possible to separate an alias email from my main email address so that the alias becomes its own account. I started my business email as an alias so it would be easy to check, but now that my business is growing, I am wanting to separate it so it can be its own account without my "name" from my main account showing up on my business email.

Alias are designed to allow for two different emails in one login. These cannot be separated or will not in the future. If you wish to have separate inboxes you would need to create separate email accounts.

sorting my emails
I get a lot of emails daily and it is hard to go through them when I have to go one at a time. It would be so much easier like the xfinity email has where you can sort the emails by who it is from it has made it so much easier going through my moms emails since my dad recently passed away. Please if xfinity can do it so can yahoo.... come on guys I know you can do it, thank you

This prompt will never stop as long as a mobile number is not listed on the account. We do required that an account have a valid mobile number listed in case the account does in fact need to be recovered. Currently when a new account is created a mobile number is require otherwise an account cannot be created.

Viewing sorted emails
I used to be able to sort 'sent' emails by 'recipient' (used it many times). Then one day it was not there anymore. Please give it back.

- Oldest on top

- Starred
- SenderThese are the only options we currently have for sorting he inbox.

We see a few reason why emails may be deleted. One, the customer has deleted or whomever has access to the account has deleted those messages. Two, the account has not been accessed for 12 months or more and will be deactivated deleting all content. The third and most common, a 3rd party email client is being used such as Outlook or the stock iOS app on a mobile device.

Do Not Delete ALL emails without warning user
I hadn't logged into this account for a while as it was getting bogged down with junk mail. However, my grandfather just passed and I had a lot of photos here as well as years of emails. I logged on to find out Yahoo deleted all of this history and memories. I understand wanted to clear space but you have my phone number and other email. Why wouldn't you warn me? This is so disheartening.

I do apologize for your loss. Unfortunately when an account has not been accessed for a period of time it will become inactive and the contents removed.
By signing back in you did reactivate the account but those previous contests are gone and cannot be recovered.

Allow MS Outlook to download email messages & leave them on the server.
Just started receiving these messages when attempting to download my email messages using MS Outlook 365:
Task 'Bill Tan Investments - Receiving' reported error (0x80042104) : 'Your email server does not have the features required to allow messages to be left on the server.'
I have two accounts that won't work now. This is new; in the last week AND IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANY ANSWER FROM YAHOO UNLESS YOU PAY FOR IT! F that!
I can read & send email via browsers or iOS however I cannot download messages from the server. I prefer to save my important messages…

As the rest state, please allow a custom number and type of emails to be deleted in batches. e.g. date, unread, read, sent from ...., etc.

Missing email
Just recently noticed I am missing ALL emails in my Inbox prior to 10/18. I still can view emails prior to 10/18 in my Sent and Unread filters. I have submitted an online request which has been completely useless. How is it that emails can be missing from my Inbox prior to a certain date but emails that I Sent or were Unread are still visible and available? This is very poor service.

Please be advised that our restore process is completely automated, and we can only restore messages lost or deleted within the last 7 days. Any messages that can be restored will reappear in your mailbox or trash folder within 8 hours. If you’re not seeing all the messages you expect after 8 hours, it’s because they were no longer recoverable.
If you are using a mail client such as Outlook or the Native mobile app, emails may be deleted by that third party client. We do recommend accessing your mail via http://yahoo.com or the Yahoo Mail app to avoid this issue.

Sliding delete
Individual emails now slide to delete on mobile. I am trying to scroll up and down, it is trying to slide emails left & right and delete them. Its too easy to delete by accident. im not even in the body of the email, just in the general mailbox view where all i see is the titles. I need to scroll up & down to make the window toggle button appear on my browser.
