Your new security protocol for logging into Mail asks for a phone number, but it appears that you think every phone number is a Cell Phone. The number in my account is a land line. Thus I never get the security code.

Automatically Opening Spam
When clicking on a box to spam the corresponding message, instead of checking the box, it will automatically open the message I do NOT want opened. This can easily compromise my security. Please fix!

Yahoo changes my email address when I connect
I created a yahoo.com address for my Amazon Kindle account a few years ago.
However, now, when I try to connect to the account Yahoo automatically changes it to a yahoo.fr address (I'm currently residing in France).
The upshot is that I cannot register my new kindle device because the security emails are being sent to the .com address that I can no longer access.

See above. Many of us do not want to move to New Mail. You should never have switched us to it involuntarily. There must be an easy path back.

Importing old mail from outlook to yahoo is of poor quality and standards.A lot of the imported e-mail is in a closed form.
You should be able to import mail from outlook to yahoo that remains open and readable instead of half to hunt for it among 50 other closed emails
