Please have the option to allow for an email alias to become the primary username for the account. Many users get married, or secure more "professional" email addresses associated with their login, so would be great to have that as an option.

stop reporting people to social media companies for emails sent in private
Beginning to suspect that Yahoo violated my rights and privacy by reporting me to social media companies, who disabled my account (discord) based on the content of an email.
If that is the case, you have broken the trust I had in yahoo for so many years.

scheduled messages
Hello, I love yahoo mail and it is my main source to send and receive emails however, one thing I find VERY troublesome is that there is no option to schedule send a email , like with gmail. I truly believe adding this option would help, I want to send all emails through you guys but if I need a message to send at a certain time cause I wont be at my phone/laptop I honestly always go to gmail, which is not my first choice. Please consider this addition!

Ads improvements!!!!
Hello, I see someone there at Yahoo got the "bright" idea of putting a box of texting associated with an AD while in email. FYI, I immediately close the texting box without looking at the changing ADs, quickly view my emails and log out. Now I see you also have it appear while at the News section after logout...so now I also don't linger there either.

Stop the unsubscribe option. Most are just SPAM for renwal of stuff I don't use.
Unsubscribe from mailing list just cause more SPAM from un-legit SPAMMERs. Getting renewal notices for products I do not use, such as AV products, is just plain SPAM. Also if I choose to make is SPAM I should not receive the same emails again and again and again.

CHANGING FORMAT
STOP changing the format of my account. THE best format was the original. BUT am I allowed to keep that ?! I have not found a way. Plus EVERY time you change formats, I lose pictures, special notes and contacts. PLEASE STOP CHANGING THE FORMAT

I received an email that I would not be able to access my inbox after today...Is it real???
The email came from "yahoo security" melbro00@yahoo.com and provided a link to update the account. I don't trust links sent in email so I logged in to check. I don't see anything this time but have seen alerts to change my mail account recently.

fix problems with yahoo trash not working properly in regards to deleted email counts
well the exact number of emails being placed in trash folder will not add the exact number of trash in the trash folder it either keeps it @ the same low number or it keeps saying a much lower number in the trash folder.please fix this problem because it's a real problem for the users of yahoo need this funtion to be working properly

My spam folder is always empty. It seems that Yahoo is removing spam emails directly instead of putting them in the spam folder. I am missing e-mails that are verifiably sent to me that I assume are being marked as spam, but my spam folder is empty!

Stop using captcha for sign in proof!
Captcha is a known waste of time. I sign into email frequently per day and if this continues I will have to change account platforms to something like Gmail.

Why prompt for deleting a message from the ''Spam'' folder, but not the ''inbox''?
Waste of time if have to confirm deletion from the ''Spam'' folder, which could be a phishing message, but not from the''Imbox''? Obviously the free version has always been a test bed for the paid version. Also the rubbish advertisements and forcing people to look at horrible faces on the main access scrteen. The main screen seems so negative!!!

Saying the classic version of yahoo would be deleted and If I don't click the link to upgrade I will lose my access to my email. I assume this is a phishing scheme. Please advise if it is not. -
block spam by filter
Please block spam in similar way as filter by email. infact I receive a lot of spam with similar words in email "object" "field"

Where di the Block Sender prompt go...it once was one the spam button, but not now?????
I'm not goona open a setting file for every time I need to block spam.
