  2. Malay (Malaysia) Language Translation Requires Improvement

    I am using Yahoo Mail in both my local (Malaysia) language and English, and I've found numerous errors in translation that is making the experience awkward and confusing. Are there ways for me to give input or request for translation corrections?

  3. let users disable spam filter

    Your spam filter is worse than useless -- it's dangerous.

    I'm a Pro subscriber. Your spam filter is filtering out business-critical emails and causing me to lose money. Losing certain emails would threaten the existence of my business. My Pro subscription should give me the power to control my own spam filter.

    Yahoo used to have the option to bypass the spam filter (via custom filters), but you removed this option for some reason. Bring it back.

  6. HOW DARE YOU MESS WITH ANYONES PERSONAL MAIL. IT BELONGS TO US NOT YAHOO. THE NEW FORMAT WAS FORCED ON ME, NOT A CHOICE.

    Oh I know, how about letting people make their own choices on how they want their private mail formatted and saved. I like the old version I have had for years... and don't you dare start deleting any of my mail.

    Something has changed with your ability to keep the spam out because I am getting a whole bunch more than I used to. It appears there are a lot of other folks interested in your ability to keep spam out. I don't know what has recently changed but it's much more than it used to be. While on mobile you need to actually click on the mail in order to block it by clicking on the sender's email address. Some are so clearly a spam address because it is random letters and number at random letters and numbers yet it…

  10. You can't get rid of stuff on the sides. No X's found on contacts, for example.

    Once you get something on the side of the email, you can't get rid of it.
    though the new format is fast, it's annoying.

  11. One of my email accounts is visible on my desktop PC, but on my phone it says the email account has expired.

    I signed up for yahoo many years ago and it was free (w/adds). But now on my mobile app, one of my accounts has a triangle with an exclamation point and it says my account has expired. Yet I can still access it on my desktop PC. Needless to say I'm not happy about that. Lately every day the app won't open on my phone until I go into my Android settings and clear cashe. To get help I have to pay $5 per month. So I guess I will have to migrate to Hotmail or Gmail? You are not…

  13. Please add a way to forward a filter email to another person. I don't want to forward all my emails.

    I have emails that come into my inbox that I want to automatically filter. I want to send those emails to another person. I should not have to move to GMAIL to use their filter feature. I like Yahoo's email layout better. PLEASE add this feature so I can forward the emails I want to automatically forward. Thanks.

  15. Disposable email BASENAME is a SECURITY ISSUE!! Please allow changing it!!

    If my email is foo@email.com, Yahoo's brilliant solution is to allow creation of "disposable email addresses" with the basename of:
    "foobox-" .

    So I can use "disposable" email addresses:
    foobox-usecase1@yahoo.com
    foobox-usecase2@yahoo.com .....

    Your solution is USELESS because how hard can it be for anyone to figure out that these are all coming from "foo@yahoo,com" ????

    PLEASE ALLOW USERS TO CHANGE THE BASENAME OF THE DISPOSABLE EMAILS!!!

    • Don't require the "-" separator so that disposable emails are not so easy to detect
    • Don't set the basename using the actual user's email address. THAT'S SIMPLY PLAIN STUPID!!!

  19. smtp failure

    Sending emails via 3rd party app fails (SMTP with Gmail's Gmailify) after years of working appropriately.

    I've been using my Yahoo email via Gmail (Gmailify) transparently for ages. Last week a new problem started - email sent via the Gmail site / app fail. They appear on my Yahoo email sent folder, but fail to be delivered to the recipient.

  20. My new PC keeps asking for my username and password every time I try and sign in. I don't have to type it, but why this constant nuisance?

    The program should know when I am on the same pc without signing out ,and not keep wanting me to sign in again !!
