Disposable email BASENAME is a SECURITY ISSUE!! Please allow changing it!!
If my email is foo@email.com, Yahoo's brilliant solution is to allow creation of "disposable email addresses" with the basename of:
"foobox-" .So I can use "disposable" email addresses:
foobox-usecase1@yahoo.com
foobox-usecase2@yahoo.com .....Your solution is USELESS because how hard can it be for anyone to figure out that these are all coming from "foo@yahoo,com" ????
PLEASE ALLOW USERS TO CHANGE THE BASENAME OF THE DISPOSABLE EMAILS!!!
- Don't require the "-" separator so that disposable emails are not so easy to detect
- Don't set the basename using the actual user's email address. THAT'S SIMPLY PLAIN STUPID!!!

smtp failure
Sending emails via 3rd party app fails (SMTP with Gmail's Gmailify) after years of working appropriately.
I've been using my Yahoo email via Gmail (Gmailify) transparently for ages. Last week a new problem started - email sent via the Gmail site / app fail. They appear on my Yahoo email sent folder, but fail to be delivered to the recipient.

My new PC keeps asking for my username and password every time I try and sign in. I don't have to type it, but why this constant nuisance?
The program should know when I am on the same pc without signing out ,and not keep wanting me to sign in again !!

it is a very bad practice on Yahoo's part that you discontinued the free email forwarding without notifying customers. if you want to regain the influence yahoo used to have before gmail took over, you have to treat your customers better.

I should be able to block more than 1000 spam e-mails with yahoo mail pro.
I pay for Yahoo mail pro every month and I should be able to block more than 1000 spam e-mails. When I reach 1000 blocked emails, I have to hit the delete key 1000 times...REALLY???
At least add a bulk delete feature if you are not going to allow me to block more than 1000 spam e-mails. I have used yahoo e-mail since the beginning, so I get a lot of spam. Yes, I also use filters which I am not sure works ay all .I never see filtered e-mails in trash which is where I tell them to go. -

Usually, when you pay for a product you can get support, if product does not work as intended (the stupid automatic previews of links that drive me cracy, how can I turn it off!!??) Disable Automatic Link Preview in Yaoo Mail
Sorry, but there are few things in life as annoying as the
Automatic Link Preview. GET RID OF IT !!!
Or at least disable it by default, so neccessary to do something to enable it, for those very few that think this is a good idea.
Please fire the idiot developer that thought this was a good idea. I am tired of removing it every single time I type a link. My yahoo is in another language, so where I am supposed to be able to disable the Automatic Link Preview, there is no such setting. -
Can only use yahoo mail app???
I'm getting rid of my yahoo account. I hate the yahoo mail app and now the apps on my android phone and microsoft surface that put all my accounts in one place without ads, won't work. I'm not paying for "help" and I'm not logging in every time to see what emails I have or to delete them. This is too much. Yahoo made a big mistake with these new changes.

one can not see the older mails. some mails re very important. any settings which can provide the old mail either on paid basis or free of cost.

Child Account
Our children have school emails at Kindergarten but I am not able to create a child account off of my account to teach them. There are instances when children need emails separate from their parents at a young age but not a safe platform for teaching and monitoring. This is a requirement for a fully digital world.

customer control over deleted mail
I would like to set a time as for when my deleted items are removed indefinitely. EG: 1 month, 2 months etc.

phone numbers are easily hacked and are used to gain access to emails, why have an option for a security key when you can still use a phone number to gain access, its so stupid! please change asap!

Change Mail Quick Action Button Order
Allow the user to re-order which quick action buttons appear on top of Inbox.
Currently, only "Archive", "Move", "Delete", and "Spam" are shown with "Mark as Read", "Mark as Unread", etc. are under the Meatballs Menu.
I'd like to be able to have my "Mark as Read" as one of those quick action buttons instead of something less used like Archive or Move.
If the recommendation is not to allow customization by user, I recommend making this change for all users to have the buttons as "Mark as Read", "Mark as Unread", "Delete", and "Spam"

Yahoo Mail Window scrolling does not work in Edge
I just switched to Edge, and I am finding that the windows in Yahoo Mail do not scroll. The scroll bars are there, but they do not move. I will continue to look for a setting that I can adjust, but don't understand the problem.
