Requiring a mobile device for sign in may be a risk for the user, if the mobile device is broken, out of service or lost, and the person can't alternatively email family to communicate. Thank you.

Provide capability to remove cached search data in Yahoo Mail Search box
Please provide a way to delete the cached search data in desktop YMail that drives the "Selected Searches" in the Yahoo Mail search box. There does not appear to be any way to clear this data, resulting in Suggested Searches that are from years-old queries.
When I see "Recent Searches", they have an "X" to the right that I can use to remove the, but "Selected Searches" do not have that. Nor is there a way to clear the cached search data entirely (which I what I really want).

Kindly inform the user prior to suddenly starting to require two-step sign in. This should be obvious business practice. Thank you.

Shoe ad stopped jumping BRIEFLY then went right back at it as soon as I started typing. SO ANNOYING AND DISTRACTING!! I know those people pay for it but we pay for our internet service and this is the worst thing I've seen on this page!!!

Spammers are impersonating Yahoo!
There are multiple times where a Spam address is impersonating Yahoo! and stating there is a problem with my account, which is false information. I know this is spam because the same address / domain is attempting to have me access multiple casino sites with offers of bonuses, free spins, etc.
Come on Yahoo!. Be responsible and stop these spammers ruining lives via these gambling sites. Take some responsibility and show other mail providers that you can be leaders.
Even Google mail is better than Yahoo! for spam controls. -
Add date range for searching mail, and preview of weblinks
I am still enjoying Yahoo mail.
Please consider:
1. Adding a date range in the top left box to select items customers want to view. For example, I cannot select all mail from X-to-Y date for deletion or review.- I called last year with a request to please add the ability to insert a weblink, and instantly see a preview of that link, not just the hypertext. This is a benefit I see on GMail. So with my preference to use Yahoo Mail, I had to figure out a work around to this limitation. It seems as if my recommendation…

Yahoo! lack of responsibility / humanity
How many times are you NOT going to take responsibility for the potential harm and (in extreme cases) suicides that gambling websites cause. You need to do something about the huge amount of spam that comes through from some very persistent domains.
You also need to realise that some of these domains are impersonating Yahoo! and advising de-activation of accounts, etc.
Bluntly, the Yahoo! spam filters are WORSE THAN Google, and there is zero benefit from blocking the sender or unsubscribing because they just detect the block / unsubscribe and open up a new domain and sender and continue the… -

The smart features on yahoo mail. Get rid of it I am not going to use any of your features so I would receive more junk ads.

deleting mails/ checking boxes
Heya..Could you please consider making a change/upgrade of the inbox? When marking lots of mails for deleting and you (accidently) open a mail, all the markings are gone when returning to main page. It would save people ( read: me ) a lot of time and irritation if this wouldnt happen. I hope and have fingers cross...also that you have a great day. Take care.

From violating the rights by rejecting what people say in comments simply because it is not in their standard, to making people pay for service. Yahoo has fallen from the tree, far from the tree.
