I've lost my email account, it doesn't recognize my e-mail address. How can I get it back?
I regularly check my account, so it has nothing to do with lack of usage.
So why is it telling me my address is not recognised? I have so many of my contacts on there and I can't describe how annoying this is. I've been using this account for over a decade, and now it's gone. Is there customer support?Any guidance to retrieve my account would be most appreciated.

Spam
I want to add certain contacts to not spam. Real emails are going into spam and I am missing out! This is not acceptable. Yahoo cannot decide what is and isn't spam on my behalf. I have missed extremely important emails because of this error and I am unable to 'unspam' certain contact.
The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Not Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify important emails in the future. Also if you use a mobile device or email client to access your mail over IMAP, please check the Spam filters in that application, to make sure it’s not marking important emails as spam.

I am not getting emails in a timely fashion.
I address emails multiple times/day. The next day I check and there are emails from the previous day interspersed with emails that were previously read. This has caused several drastic issues with business partners as they email and I do not receive until 24 or more hours later by searching . The emails have the time noted as when they were sent, but not the time rec'd in my inbox.

I am not able to see my old email
I am just able to view my email which is few days old. I haven't deleted anything but my earlier email is nowhere to be found

Account Security is not generating third party app password
I tried to generate app password for outlook desktop several times and it generates only for outlook anroid. Not able to setup outlook desktop. Yahoo wants me to subscribe and pay monthly subscription to resolve their error.

How can I get stuff that I moved from my yahoo mail inbox to another folder to no longer show in the inbox?
When I move an email from my inbox to another folder it should no longer show in my inbox, but it does. Is there a way to correct this?
This might be due to the conversation thread being active on the mailbox. Try disabling it by following the steps here: help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail/sln28055.html

Logged into Yahoo Mail after an absence. I should have seen thousands of past messages. Found the new Yahoo format and that all my past messages no longer exist. I did not think Yahoo was deleting customer data without regard, but it appears they have.
If an account is unused or dormant for 12 months, it is deactivated. More info here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/sln2018.html You will not be able to reactivate it or re-create the same email address. You can always sign up for a new Yahoo account at mail.yahoo.com.

Can you go back to the password method instead of having me go get my phone to verify through the yahoo app that I'm who I am when trying to access email from my desktop computer? It's a real pain in the butt!Hi there,

stop making me having to re-sign in every time i wanna check my mail
Yes i am aware there is a “Keep me signed in” checkbox when i log in, just below the password field, but it does not work! I keep having to resign in EVERY TIME. Please fix it.
If you’re clearing cache and cookies regularly, you’d be asked to enter your credentials to log in to your Yahoo account.

WHY IS YAHOO MAIL PRO PLACING NEW MESSAGE IN ARCHIVE WITHOUT HAVING THEM APPEAR FIRST IN MY INBOX? THIS STINKS AND IS NOT WORTH $35 A YEAR.
YAHOO MAIL IS PLACING NEW MAIL IN THE ARCHIVE FOLDER AND HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR SIX MONTHS. I STUMBLED ON THE MISTAKE TODAY. YOU OWE ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR LOST BUSINESS FROM MY PRO ACCOUNT AND THAT MEANS MY MAIL SERVICE SHOULD BE FREE FOR STARTERS.
