1. passkey

   Don't force blank (0000) passkeys on users and then lock them out of their accounts, and don't restrict double-auth to just people's phones on the double-auth list (???).

   Short explaination of what went on:

   "I see the problem is that yahoo set up a blank (0000) "passkey" without me and without my consent and it expired. I just had to delete it. Deleting double-authentication would have just forced-logged me out and would have perma-locked me out as well. You need more training. You almost talked someone into perma-locking themselves out of an account Yahoo auto-passkeyed and auto-locked by automation. I was lucky my phone even allowed to that stage and only because I pre-set up the double-auth. Please ask to be retrained. You almost bricked my account."

   Also: Why are you asking people to agree to ANOTHER layer of aggrements in order just to send feedback?! Stop that nonsense. Too many layers. Go back to simple Username and Password. Everything else is just performative security and performance legal mumbo; neither hold any water but cause problems for users.

3. Go back to the old way. New **** sucks, and has crashed on my computer.

4. have a way to report technical errors

   There i something wrong with desktop Yahoo Mail. It says "Your mail is temporarily unavailable.
   Please wait a moment and reload the page." It's been down for hours, You have absolutely no way to report technical errors with your servers. According to DownDector many others are having this problem.

5. All important mail treated as spam

   I have added contacts to my Yahoo address book, I have starred the emails, I am constantly marking them as not spam. Yet the new mails continue to be treated as spam. This used to happen ocasionally but now it is constant: all the emails go to spam.
   Why is there no option to just turn of this horrible antispam filter?!

   And on top of that when I post this suggestion the landing page is 404!!!!

6. missing emails

   I am missing at least two VERY important emails. I am paying for Yahoo Plus so that I can access customer service. I'm told that my issue "has been escalated" and to wait for a response. There is no expectation of time and absolutely no sense of urgency. I need help.

8. replace it with the old system.

   Fix it so it works. Email keeps erroring out and I cannot read them email once it errors out. This new system us really a poor change. Who wet it up should be ashamed of themselves and replaced.

12. By scrapping the whole project and not allowing it to automatically make people use it. It isn't better. It's a considerably worse UI.

    I didn't want to be switched to the newest version of yahoo. I'd already tried it, and went back to the old version. It's not good! It's difficult to find my mail that I actually want to read, and if I wanted to use google - I would. Stop trying to be google.

    On top of that - now it won't show my mail past August 2024. It's December 2025!! Where did all of my mail from the past 16 months go? I needed access to those emails, not access to some spam I definitely already deleted, but here it is still uselessly sitting in my mail box.

    I deleted most of these outdated messages the same week the new version of Yahoo Mail was released. So why can't I access the new stuff, and all I have is stuff I don't need or want and already deleted?! It makes no sense.

    Stop trying to be google... google sucks as a company and a provider. The only reason why I've been with yahoo since the beginning of yahoo is because it's YAHOO... and NOT Gmail.

    If you want people to be happy then fix how spam is toggled. The only complaint in the real world that I hear about Yahoo Mail is that 1. the email takes longer to be received, and 2. even important legal emails, or state/government emails will be automatically sent to spam. THAT'S IT. I've talked to so many people across so many business types and everyone agreed these were the two biggest problems with Yahoo Mail, and that was the primary reason for using hotmail or gmail instead. Fix those 2 issues - please stop trying to be google.

    Also this wont let me change to the email address I actually was checking when I clicked this feedback. It will only let me use an email address I almost never even use.
