The old interface was better in many ways. It is harder to navigate between stocks now and lines do not all show up as configured (still).
- For several months the lines in the graphs when I add 3 simple moving averages do not always fully render. I could get around it by making the lines really thick.... annoying. New interface does not have option to make them thicker. not all 3 lines show up as configured.
- When I get the graph settings I want, I want to be able to step through each stock in my portfolio. This was missing, you have re-added it, but it always goes back to top, so I have to scroll down and find my place every time.
- The only reason I use Yahoo over Google Finance is because it is better and familiar... so if you keep making it different yet LESS functional for real use, I will abandon yahoo finance for something better.
Setup 3 portfolios...with at least 6 to 20 stocks in each. Setup three graph indicators. Use 22" or larger LED screen. Zoom to 120% on firefox. Now, navigate around all 3 portfolios and you tell me if its a good interface now?

My idea is that Yahoo for once will listen to users. We hate the new charts. Keep the old charts and maybe tweak them to make minor improvements as you listen to feedback.

Does anyone know of a product that works like the old Yahoo charts? I would even pay a little every month for something SUPER simple like the old charts.

SO now we can't see after market charts?! Do us all a favor and bring Yahoo Charts back to where it was in 2000!!! You have done nothing but ruin it a little bit every year!

I really like the non-clunkiness of the new charts. There have been some recent improvements done to them that have added some of the old features to them such as the same timeline viewings. Also the real-time data for the prices is reflected much more accurately on the 1 Day viewing charts than the old ones were. Awesome job overall!

Just when you thought you couldn't mess up your charts any more you have accomplished the impossible! Great job! Just let the consumer decide which charts they want to use (old v New) This is simple! Instead you try to shove down our throats an inferior product and ask us how you should fix it. *** backwards. No common sense.

New charts are terrible. What's the point? No candles? No date range selection? Yahoo hates customers, we are so inconvenient.

Worst charts you have ever had. The older charts were much better.

Why do you force us to test your betas? Betas should be options for early adapters and other brave souls. Many of us (probably the most upset ones) need workable charts every day. I can not lose the use of charts at the whim of someone who has a "neat new idea" to try.
You folks have caused us a lot of hassle earlier when you messed with the portfolio views. Now you are forcing us to check your beta charts (which really should be called "alphas", they are that rough & inconsistent). Please give us the option to avoid your testing and to stay with the familiar old charts.
We are not just accounts - we are real people on this end and you are causing us real problems.
