Your finance charts are horribly unreliable at staying current. I will open a chart and within minutes it will stop updating itself. Sometimes refreshing the web page gets the chart current again, often times is does not.
The data feed within the chart framework is also inconsistent. The price on the chart itself often does not match the price in upper left above the chart. Refreshing the page sometimes resolves this but often times, they remain significantly out of sync.
The same thing happens on the forum (conversation) pages for stocks. The price will just stop updating and never get current until you refresh the page.
Just so you know, I am not a technical rock either. I manage a 1,000 computer network. I have tried 4 different browsers- Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Opera. They all do the same thing. I have tried 3 different computers, with 2 different operating systems. I have tried 3 different broadband connections in 2 different physical locations. I have tried behind a proxy/firewall and not behind one.
In every single case, without exception, the price feeds stop updating after a few minutes. I am posting this because it has been an ongoing issue for several months now and seems to actually be getting even worse.
And it's not just me, several people on the finance forums complain about this issue all the time. They just tell me they manually refresh the page all day. Well, the other day, I had a personal day, and found myself refreshing charts manually about 200+ times and I am so frustrated I can't take it anymore.
I see you have added a feature to link your brokerage account to the Yahoo finance pages. There is literally NO WAY IN **** I would do that with the current state of reliability.
Please fix this issue!!!
Thanks,
Rob
