OLD YAHOO EMAIL WAS FAST AND EASY --- NEW YAH00 IS ****`! IN THE OLD VERSION, I'D CLICK ON ALL 0R YESTERDAY OR LAST WEEK. Then SELECT ALL and unmark the one I wanted to keep and delete the rest. Then, payments I made online, would send me a confirmation email. I'd select it drg it down to the folder, this way I ALWAYS have a confirmation that PROVES PAYMENT WAS MADE! IF THEY COMPLAIN and say no payments made, I have proof & won! with this NEW version it doesn't work!!
ALSO, ADD "Cut" to the menu or "Move To" so you can select emails to be moved into folders. Nice and fast. With this new version, I can't move emails and confirmation of payment to a folder, the old version you could. -

Says I have 6 unread emails and there is nothing there, when there should be. Before everything dissappear there were boxes next to each email. I ticked the box then clicked the - button. Instead of deleting 1 email it marked them all for deletion

Yahoo only wants young people, but guess what: young people use email for personal communication far less than older adults do. Removing control of swipe actions is ageist because the older we get, the more apt we are to have jerky hand/finger motions. GIVE US BACK THE ABILITY TO TURN OFF YOUR STUPID SWIPE FEATURES.

Dear Yahoo team, I am Md Mehedee Hasan from Bangladesh. In the current world, Google and Microsoft companies have become quite popular by making smart phones. So if you launch a smart phone in the market with the name Yahoo, I hope it will become very popular. Because the name Yahoo is unique and also a place of trust like Nokia. You should consider my plan.

I can’t fix filters or set filters in your mobile app or mobile safari. I don’t have access to a computer. Make this accessible. IM SICK OF MY IMPORTANT EMAILS FROM MY HUSBAND OR MY PURCHASE ORDERS GOING TO THE TRASH BOX. FIX THIS ISSUE OR YOU WILL LOSE A 30 year plus customer for good

I would like to share my feedback regarding the recent redesign of the Yahoo Mail mobile app.
I genuinely do not understand why such a significant interface change was forced on users without providing an option to keep the previous layout or choose between the old and new experiences. In its current state, this is one of the most frustrating email app experiences I have encountered.
The new interface feels unintuitive, and in several cases, appears to introduce usability issues rather than improvements.
Some examples:
• Why do I now need to tap my profile icon just to access the main navigation menu? This adds an unnecessary step to actions I perform frequently.
• Drafts are one of the most important email folders, yet they are hidden under the "More" section. Draft emails should be immediately accessible, not buried behind additional clicks.
• My custom folders and organizational structure have been pushed to the bottom of the menu, making them harder to access. Many users rely heavily on folders to manage their email efficiently.
• When composing an email and then navigating to the Drafts folder, drafts sometimes appear to disappear or are difficult to locate. This behavior is confusing and creates concern that work may be lost.
• The app prominently promotes "Attachments" as a top-level filter, while "Unread" messages—which are far more important for day-to-day email management—receive less prominence. This prioritization does not reflect how many users process their inbox.
• Why do I have to long-press a message first and then select "Select" before I can choose one or multiple messages? This introduces unnecessary layers of interaction for a basic and frequently used action. Message selection should be immediately available through a visible checkbox, selection mode, or edit button. Requiring users to discover and perform a long-press gesture followed by an additional selection step adds complexity, reduces efficiency, and makes the interface feel less intuitive.Overall, the redesign feels as though it was created without sufficient consideration for established user workflows. It seems that we're prioritizing hiding functions behind gestures and extra menus instead of making common actions easily accessible. Core functions have been hidden behind profile icons, "More" menus, long-press gestures, and secondary screens. The result is an interface that feels more complicated, less efficient, and less productive. Good user experience should reduce clicks and cognitive effort, not increase them. A modern appearance is welcome, but not at the expense of efficiency, discoverability, and productivity. In other words, simplicity should not come at the expense of usability.
At a minimum, I strongly recommend providing users with the option to switch between the classic and new layouts, while also addressing the navigation, folder accessibility, and draft-management issues outlined above.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.
Sincerely,
A Long-Time Yahoo Mail User -

I was forced to move from Comcast to Yahoo. I hate it. The mail message appears in different widths, sometimes just one character wide! I can’t regulate this. There is no movable margin. Sometimes the message fills as much of the screen as it’s supposed to, but most of the time it doesn’t and I have no idea what to do to fix it. This is annoying and horrible!

This is the most infuriating user experience I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing. Where is the option to sign out. Why do I have to verify my sign in every time I sign in. Why are things hidden or obscured. Why do you suck so ******* bad.
