Really, that putrid purple banner at the top has got to go.
I want the old, Classic, simple, plain, easy-on- the-eyes layout option back now! -

Bonjour,
Cordialement -

I want to see my name, not ''me'' . It is disgusting all together. New version and updated version, some ''kristallnacht'' , imposed on users.

I want the old Yahoo Basic Email back. WHY IS THIS SO HARD FOR YAHOO TO UNDERSTAND???

I don't believe Yahoo cares what their users think . Why even bother to send them suggestions.

WHY DO YOU KEEP FORCING NEW BASIC ON YOUR USERS ???? IT CERTAINLY NOT IMPROVED.

This is horrible. If you hit reply (or forward) and you DO want to respond within various parts within the text you have to click "edit" which "unlocks" the email. You can't just scroll down and write your comments underneath the sender's text.
So in an age where things are supposedly faster, they are adding a step. A step that isn't even needed.
Hey Yahoo, you gonna bring back paper and pencil too?

I don't want the new stuff, I want it the way it was. So do hundreds if not thousands of users. Send all Yahoo! Basic users a URL where we'll always be able to keep the previous format before this newer blue page rearrangement happened. PLEASE!!!

One of the reasons why I use the Basic instead of the fancy Yahoo email is because with the basic, I like the arrows that are added when replying to an email. They're valuable when you reply to an email and write your responses at various part WITHIN the text, the person on the other end can figure out what's new and old text. This new version has removed the arrows. Can't stand that line going down the side.
(On Basic you had to click Fwd. to get the arrows, they don't appear after clicking Re:, which was fine, I just had to add the email address)

(I assume we're talking about this new updated version to the basic email interface that I started seeing last week.)
We're wasting our breath, and time. They won't listen.
If Yahoo's objective is to lose users - mainly because they don't listen to the users - congratulations, it'll work.

I still use yahoo mail because it's comfortable. Not because it's better (it's not), not because it's fancy (it's not), and certainly not because it's easy to use (it's not). Comfort and recognition are the ONLY benefits of yahoo mail. If you make me change to the new version then you have removed the only reasons I would still use it.

I see like others you want us to pay to play. I guess ad revenue is not a good enough Profit Margin. But IF I pay $5 a month would that get me my OLD Basic back without ads - spam generated by Yahoo, and better protection on our identities? How much NOT to share the info you collect on us?

The newer version is very ******* the eyes. If I can't get it back to Classic Basic I'm getting another account elsewhere. You keep jerking around with my email. Stop it!
