    Just spoke with customer service and was told that to go back to original version would cost me $100.
    This is a total rip off, perhaps a scam. The new updated version won't allow auto-fill emails and so much more. Looks like we will have to sever ties with Yahoo and go to another email provider.
    THIS IS HORRIBLE.

    I tried very hard to keep my old Classic Mail ,which I have been using for the last 10 years , as at 81 I do not like changes to my life style. Then suddenly your New Updated Mail system was thrust upon me , and I no longer have my headers on Weather and Finance or the previous flexability of the old Classic Mail system.
    I want my old system back please , Tony in Cambridge

    Hate the forced Email change to this new format. Put it back or we will all eventually go elsewhere. Maybe that's what you're trying to get us to do?

    I want my old yahoo back. This one sucks. Let us make the decision of change it or not. I want the basic back, not this forced change.

    This new mail is hideous. Why change it. No way to discuss it with a person ofcourse. Luckily when I turn on my laptop it goes to the old mail, but if I change to another site and go back to Yahoo it takes me to the new mail. I shut down and start again but should not have to do this.

    Bring back classic !!! Horrible upgrade !!! Ridiculous that when I type in a name it does not come up as options and I have to be put to another screen to find an email address and then go back to my drafts to find it !!!!! that is just one of many things I hate about this new email

    Tried it but email looked the same as basic, not the good old fashioned classic email I want

    Most unfriendly, and less efficient.

    I lost about 100 emails from my inbox.

    I cannot create sub-folders like I used to do.

    To move from one email to the next I have to go back to the inbox.

    Perdi as informações de minha pasta. Não gosto dessa nova forma de Yahoo. E o mais decepcionante foi ser obrigada aceitar o que não pedi. As vezes que fui pesquisada eu disse não! E mesmo assim mudaram o correio. E perdi documentos e mensagens. Já tentei tudo pra voltar e recuperar. Mas comigo não há resultado. Lamento não ter direito de escolha. Isso devia ser opcional. Com duas fontes ou mais pra escolhas. ELIZABETH FERREIRA. DISTRITO FEDERAL. BRASIL

    Strongly dislike this new email. How can I get my old one back which pops up emails when I am writing the same person(s) or group of people, and which allows me to copy and paste in pictures, is NOT all highlighted in bold, does not have some weird medallion with initials that pop up for those I am contacting and and is simple in appearance. I have been frustrated for the past 78 hrs that #1 I was forced into this appearance for my emails and #2 that I cannot switch back to it. If this keeps up all week, I will do all I can to transfer out to a google account. I'm done. Sooooo frustrating. Why is this happening? At least give people the option to opt out and save yourselves tons of money by sticking with what works please. People need to have the option!!!

    How do I return to the classic Yahoo Mail? As usual newer version is not better! The changes are unnecessary and unwanted.
