The company has switched me to the new yahoo version without my permission. I'm sure you'll be punished for it!

Bring back old classic version, I do not like the new views at all. Why would you disable the old classic version, assuming it was okay with your users?

Stop screwing with things that don't need to be changed! Why must you continue to aggravate your customers?

Bring back classic mail. This new format does not allow you to scroll down the list, you have to use to pg back buttons, too many hand movements as it is. At least let the user decide what format the want to use, not you guys.

Man is the child of habit ! I bet 80% of users got too used to the old version to request a change...The change allows more advertising and more revenues to Yahoo...However unconcerned Yahoo regular users are...Lol !

I cannot access my contacts by just writing a name!!!!! How am I supposed to write to people whose emails I don't know by heart??? I have to go through 5 extra time-consuming steps! This is a HORRIBLE decision by someone at Yahoo. Enough to make me cancel my yahoo account altogether.

It was just fine the way it was.

I don't like the new version of the Yahoo email. It's visually too stark and not as intuitive as the classic version. Can't you give users a choice on which one to use? I cannot even find the settings cog! How do I get the classic Yahoo mail back please?

I hate the blue color on the New Email, and all the space painted with it is glaringly bothersome to my vision.

The new version cause some emails to not show up. I have tested this by switching back and forth between the old and the new version. And certain emails that didn't show up on the new version, would re-appear when switch to the old version. Many of my friends complaint about not receiving expected emails. But when I told them to switch back to the old version, their emails showed up.

The classic is still the best. I cannot access my contacts by just writing a name. I am obliged to use the fonts sizes I do not want because the facility to adjust is not easily traceable. PLEASE LET THERE BE A CHOICE: TOO MUCH EXPERIMENT is not productive and can be harmful.

I want the old Yahoo mail back. It was much easier on my eyes (I'm 74) . The print on your current Yahoo mail hurts my eyes and I tried to go to the new Basic, but the instructions can't be followed because I can't find the settings icon anywhere. Where did you hide it? Before you give people instructions you should double-check that the instructions can be followed, which these can't because there is no Settings icon that I can find. Can you advise of any email I can switch to that is like the old Yahoo? Because your new Yahoo is terrible. You should have stayed with the old, it worked and was easily readable. I want to go back to it.

I was using webmail for convenience of not having to install an agent like Thunderbird on each system. This was relatively little data over the wire as I did not load the emails I just wanted to delete or ... now, I am forced to either be abused with this fugly and heavy weighted purple monster webmail or go to an app. An app which will download the entire email, each... and... every one to each... and every system i use (that would be about 10) and yahoo gets to enjoy the excessive bandwidth usage rather than allowing me to use the tried, true, effective, low resource PREVIOUS classic email (because, yes as other posts stated... the previous 'classic' was 2 revs later than 'classic' that i liked. But, it was about 90% more useful than the new fugly purple monster UI.
Result,
1) Yahoo loses graphic SPAM (i mean ad) opportunity at their website
2) yahoo gets to enjoy exceedingly increased bandwidth usage as I download every email to 10+ systems
3) I get to act like I am back using Eudora and dialup to sync, store, manage, exact copies of the email on 10+ systems rather than store in one place.Great thinking Yahoo!
