this new yahoo basic mail sux beyond words!! I had it until a few days ago and you took it away without a warning. Now I have no way to find all my emails from a common sender to organize my mail. What Einstein thought this was a good plan?

Something - Anything other than we have as "the new Yahoo Mail" has got to be better.
How many clicks does it take to attach a file? answer-TOO MANY!
All the image icons are useless and confusing. Someone - Please revert the yahoo mail to the previous version or the one before that or the one before that etc.... -

Is this new version a work in progress? every few months you change something? are we testing the change for you? It's not my job test out your tweaks. Give me the previous version.

Yahoo! Here is a great ideal! Gold! Solid Gold! SO to deal with email whiners like me!, Install a termination button!, once pressed, deletes all users email, and username! instantly!

I have lost most of the contacts in my list. I cannot find my groups in the new listing. I liked the count that accompanied the old groupings in the classic version. I would like to have the choice of the format that I could use. Back to Classic for me!

I hate the current mail I am forced to use. It has messed up all my folders and other ways I was organized. Bring back the OLD CLASSIC / BASIC EMAIL LET THE USERS DECIDE WHICH EMAIL VERSION TO USE AND DON’T FORCE USE TO ONE WE DON’T LIKE.

Maybe its time to talk good about 'other' emails.
Gmail is faster, NICE white screen, Does not age one's self
Proton Mail is NOT US based, nice and Secret for those who need SECRET with no COURT to say you must!
Yahoo! has BLUE screen of death!, slow, no longer blocks ad's

Yahoo you have gotten soft!. Lets return to the Midwest way of doing business. SIX Holidays, NO Flex Time, start at 8:00 work past 5:00pm. PTO is 10 days for years 1-5, which include sick and vacation time. NO free coffee, no Gym memberships, no free Lunches. If you return to our environment, you will think clearer and not roll out such email trash...Wake up

Very frustrating!!!! in HELP, it says if you want to change the font, which is NEEDED as it's soooo small, the directions say select SETTINGS from dropdown box, then select MORE SETTINGS. Where in the heck is MORE SETTINGS to select Writing Email to change the default rich text font?

I agree - bring back classic mail - I can't find my lists that I had checked off to get my groups - you didn't even give us a warning so I didn't get to print them off - I can find them - but I can't send emails to all of them as bcc anymore -

This new one is terrible. Where are the font options? Bold, underline, etc. The key stroke shortcuts won't even work. This is a horrible update that was forced on us. Please go back to what we had before. Why change it and make it worse? Do you want us not to use yahoo anymore? What is the thinking behind it?

Nah, can't have been a Google product, unless they broke it deliberately to hamper the competition. If you switch GMail into "basic HTML" mode, it operates much like YMail used to waybackwhen (and is clearly using a very plain but functional theme, not running acres of fancy code just to emulate the look and feel), and actually sticks with it...
I wasn't really sold on it when the only option was the modern bells-and-whistles version, that often took a long time to load, particularly on a low-spec or otherwise overly stressed PC, and wasn't quite as user friendly as they liked to think it was. But now they've done a "reverse Yahoo", seemingly having listened to the complaints on *this* board even when Time Warner / Verizon / whoever owns the vast "takeover at a massively inflated price, ruin the service, then sell it for a massive loss" Oath empire is this week can't be bothered doing it themselves, and "brought back" a simple, easily understood, accessibility-friendly, does-the-job interface even when they originally didn't even have one...
