This is ridiculous. Why make things less efficient? Just roll it back and keep the users happy. Gmail is on all of our phones, it is easy to make the move if we choose to, so far those of us here had not. You are pushing that action in acts like this. You will become irrelevant int eh world of tech with stuff like this.

Bring back the option to switch to the old version!!! I couldn't care less about your stupid ads Yahoo. The old version worked just fine and the new version sucks!!!!!!!!!! Guess I'll go to another provider if you idiots at Yahoo don't bring back the old version like we're all asking for!!

AGREED. ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS NEW SYSTEM FORMAT. Particularly for professionals using this system for work.
Woke up to the email auto updating me to make the switch. Then FORCED me to make the switch without consent. I was able to return it to it's classic format by finding the option tucked away in the corner.
However, today, the option had been completely removed. I was forced to 'update' whilst on a deadline at work, beyond frustrating when suddenly everything is not where you need it to be. Just - NO. Not ideal whilst working really is it? Not really thinking about the users at all, because if you were you'd give us the option of choice.WHAT BERK DESIGNED AN INTERFACE THAT MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WANT TO KEEP THE SAME?
IT'S GOD AWFUL TO LOOK AT. SPECIFICALLY, THE OLDER VERSION WAS SO MUCH CLEARER AND EASIER TO READ. IT WAS PERFECT THE WAY IT WAS.
ALWAYS HAD YAHOO, BUT THINKING OF SWITCHING PROVIDER IF THE OPTION TO SWITCH BACK ISN'T PROVIDED TO US. RIDICULOUS.
CAN WE START A PETITION AS THIS IS INFURIATING.

Go back to regular, previous YAHOO mail. Today you have gone back to a new format
that doesn't work correctly. Hard to delete messages after reading them, and tried to
compose a fresh message and the YAHOO system doesn't recoginize my old contacts.
I'm up the creek today. Will go back to G-mail until you restore the old GOOD YAHOO
mail system. -

This is not the first time you have tried to change the email format. It didn't work last time and, judging by the feedback, it is not going to work this time. Please fire the guilty parties and give us back the Classic version.

The new fugly Webmail UI must have been written for the blind and by the lame.
I do not need a significant portion of my page filled with a fat empty purple line when it did have valuable information or valuable controls. It is not like you even made it better for the touch screen wienies. You still have ribbon dropdowns.
Consider this Yahoo... the more space you fill with useless purple lines, the less space you have to abuse the non-paying users with your graphic SPAM .. i mean ads
If I want tabs, let me add them (I won't since I do not use notes, calendar, nor contacts tab since all of that has a functional UI for managing ...well it did. Who knows what was buggared by these braindead developers who evidently are 90 years old and need everything in 60pt type to see it.
Hire interns to do maintenance on the known good working product that (looking below) is preferred over this ****, fire the senior devs and let them get a challenge elsewhere ... make users happier and save money!
Is this the 5th time you tried to force big purple lines and useless tabs on us? It seems like the 10th.

I cannot say how many times you have forced us to leave what has been known to work and is preferred in the time I have had my yahoo account. But, it seems like every 18 month (hmmm common spin cycle for a new product release).. yet it almost always looks like the same **** you tried to foist on us the first time several years ago... fugly and fills the screen with nothing useful in favor of ... purple above content. Oh, and those useless tabs which also consume screen space with valueless stuff.

This new e-mail system is next to useless. After approximately 19 years of being with Yahoomail, I am thinking of switching to a new provider. I manage two sports teams and three other groups; I am unable to effectively deal with these group e-mails with this new system. Let me change it back!

This is a time waster and an eyesore. You have removed the distinct areas which were in place and blended the screen in a way that makes it less helpful. Go back to the previous set up. Why force us to use Gmail? Really?
