    I don't like the new mail... give us the original one back! This will temp me to leave yahoo

    I don't want to switch to any other form of Yahoo, they all, excepting the classic format are really bar searching online. My option is moving to Google.

    My idea is to go back to classic Yahoo mail....you ******* are taking over my life with your ads and intrusive behavior. I hate YAHOO!

    It was perfectly fine. Why do you insist on changing it and forcing it on everyone? There is a reason why I have Basic. This is now totally screwed up. I didn't ask for this; I don't like this; I certainly don't want this; I hate this. Put it back the way it was!

    Bring back the classic mail - I hate the "new" e-mail look. It is not visually pleasing and when you have retinopathy, it makes it extremely hard to see. I also doesn't show how many messages are in the spam or trash folder.

    Please let us have the option of going back to the classic view, or choose the view we want and need to use.

    Specific problems with the new mail:
    When I open an email to respond, classic mail put me in subject field and just start typing. Now, have to put cursor in that field, click, then type.
    When I finished sending a mail in Classic, it went back to inbox; now it stops me at a dialog box telling me it was sent succesfully, requiring another click to get to inbox or message.
    Even picking a function from the pulldown where you see account info and setting; with new version you have to click to see the pulldown choices (not just hover), click to select the function, then click a separate 'go'; almost all other pulldowns I use do not use such a convoluted process. On Classic, if you needed to attach, you pressed it and selected where to attach from; now, there is a extra step after pressing attach to click on the 'file 1' to choose file; why add that click.
    Just remarkable that you all went to the trouble to break something that wasn't broken; it's puzzling.

    I have problems with my vision and now find I struggle with the new mail version. The colours are so vivid that they are causing vision distortion for me making it very, very difficult to read and sort my emails. I also do not want to see ads in my email - it's bad enough the junk mail that lands on my doormat!!
    I think when you decide to change thing visually you should maybe speak to people with vision problems to find what would suit most.

    Return Basic email now you are forcing people to take something they don't like. The newest Yahoo email is truly one hot mess.

    this new mail is horrible. you people are as bad as the drones and losers who run ebay and paypal. must be a west coast thing. you have something great and easily legible in the original classic mail but NO....that's not good enough. this new style format sucks!

    Yes, I am ABLE to use Basic Mail. I don't LIKE to use Basic Mail. Classic Mail Made more sense to me and was much easier to navigate. What happened to the CHOICE we had to use whatever version of mail we prefer? Please reinstate the Classic Mail version.
