I want my Basic back. I don't want "Hope and Change", I want what works, BASIC.

a) I have no interest in Nubank but I can't get rid of it on my mail list. IT'S A NUISANCE!!!
b) I can no longer simply select and delete items from my inbox. That is NOT an "improvement"!!!
c) Why don't you guys stop messing around when the old system was already good?

The new one will not delete emails and the font is really irritating...DO NOT LIKE IT.

I want my classic old style of email back. I hate the new version. Call me old, but, I know what I like and what works for me.

once again I seem to have imposed on me, without asking, some other 'version' of 'Mail'. Looks like its just change for changes sake. I wonder, does Yahoo understand its users and their requirements for a straightforward, simple to use email? One can only surmise that someone has been employed to bring about 'improvements' so they have to come up with something to justify their salary and keep their job. Please - put them on to doing something more productive and less disruptive.

As a side note, please share these comments on Facebook and Twitter as we're more likely to persuade Yahoo to reverse their regrettable decision to impose unwanted changes on us if we make our concerns public. It would also help if you email your concerns to news@theregister.co.uk or mail@wired.com It's a good story because Yahoo has been losing market share for years, largely because they don't listen to their users.

I want the old version and I want the old version every time I log on. Maybe you could have had a huge survey of long time users to ask what if anything we wanted changed.

Changing of "CLASSIC MAIL" making it nearly the "NEWEST YAHOO MAIL" is disappointing as we had chosen not to use the newest yahoo mail, did not like it and were very happy with the classic mail. Very unhappy with today's changed to the classic mail - BRING THE OLD CLASSIC MAIL BACK!!!!!

Why would Yahoo do this? Nobody asked for it, nobody wants it, please put it back the way it was and fire the idiot in marketing responsible for imposing these hateful changes on people who do not want it. If you ever wanted a reason why this once famous brand is struggling, ask yourself why you would force something on people without first checking that they actually wanted it.

Are you aware how much time it takes each user to learn your new system? None of us asked for this. It has been forced on us without comment or notice. I have to take time out to learn a new system - when I had a perfectly serviceable one previously.

The difference between new and old Yahoo mail is zero in essence and negative in the design, the old one was more useful, comfortable and - nota bene! - habitual. Absolutely no need to make changes just to make changes. I have no will to get used to the new view while it differs from the old one only visually but is identical to it in essence. Just bring the old Yahoo mail back and stop boring me to death with new fruitless ideas. Vivat!

According to your help site, Classic Mail has been discontinued. Why? There is a huge interest in retaining Classic as you'll see from the messages below. Why weren't we given any notice? This is like waking up one morning and finding someone has stolen your car and replaced with something they'd prefer you to drive. This is an uncivilised way to treat people. Please explain your thinking...

when we go to setting we have the option to go back to Classic Mail but this button does not return us to Classic Mail it merely sends us to Basic again. Why are you misleading us?
