    Yahoo! Here is a great ideal! Gold! Solid Gold! SO to deal with email whiners like me!, Install a termination button!, once pressed, deletes all users email, and username! instantly!
    Problem goes away!!!

    So when you click on the X to close a message, it now opens a new tab with mail. Great enhancement. Why not just close the message? PLEASE bring back the old mail!!!!!

    Do you have a year when the gathering feedback will complete? Need to know so i can find a good email server and not keep clinging to the false hope than you will go back to classic because i really think you don't care and have no plans on going back and never did.Why don't you just give us the middle finger and be done with it, so those of us who cant stand this garbage can move on.

    wow! This new mail Basic is really BAD. Been using GMAIL, Now use Yahoo for activities not to be mentioned here.....

    I agree with the comments I just read.....about 10, etcetc. I hate this new version of yahoo email. It's like going back to the beginning of email......20-30 yrs???? Bring back the old classic email. The new version is a working piece of junk!

    I have the exact same problem with my mother who is almost 80.
    I was finally able to show her how to write emails, which she now enjoys communicating with her friends.

    I chose to sign her up to yahoo because at the time, it had the most simple and easiest interface compared to hotmail, or Gmail.. yahoo was the best fit for a senior.

    but simply forcing a change of theme or colors confuses her, never mind moving buttons or changing functionality..

    Yahoo developers, please consider developing a "basic - unchanging" version for seniors who have difficulty adapting to a new environment or any kind of change.

    Yahoo help says to change to full featured Yahoo mail from basic click on the gear icon. there is no gear icon.
