The ONLY WAY You can IMPROVE the NEW one is to BRING BACK THE OLD ONE. NOBODY on here even wants the new version of Yahoo Mail Basic.
There's probably at least OVER 1 MILLION IDEAS/FEEDBACK on here TELLING YOU GUYS to BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION. Seriously, Why Can't you LISTEN to Your Yahoo users? You will LOSE over a ton of your Yahoo users if you do NOT Bring back the ORIGINAL Version of Yahoo Mail Basic.
I use different emails for different things, but if you do NOT bring back the OLD VERSION of Yahoo Mail Basic, then I will find Another server and DELETE Most of my accounts on here ONE BY ONE where you will LOSE ME and MANY of your other users for GOOD. This EXACTLY what Hotmail did to me....Hotmail was PERFECTLY FINE until Microsoft/Outlook took over...it was 100% fine with their old version until they FORCED a change on us.
Do NOT FORCE a Change on Anyone that DOES NOT want one. Please at Least Give your users an OPTION to SWITCH BACK to the old version. Your Yahoo users are the ones using YOUR Server so we should at least have an OPTION to go back to the OLD VERSION of Yahoo Mail Basic and we should at least have a say in this.
I PROMISE there's more than likely OVER 1 Million users that want the OLD VERSION BACK...If you don't believe me, go through Every single one of your Feed Backs, and there's more than likely WAY OVER 1,000 Yahoo users who HATE the new version of Yahoo Mail Basic and want the OLD Version BACK.
If you Choose NOT take action & keep it the way it is, you will Lose a ton of your users. You Need actually Listen to their feedback and Take Action.

I hate this every time you "upgrade". I LIKE my old email. I WANT it back. Each time these changes are forced on me I use yahoo a bit less. Forced change drives people away.

no way to customize settings and limited function. putting links in outgoing email does not allow them to be a link...only text. I hate this and im ready to wave good bye to ****** yahoo

What the ****? Had to come here to make a statement and they change it back to the classic mail. Come on this morning and their BS new mail is back again. STOP THIS.

I hate the new Yahoo email format!!! And now I have to page thru the emails. when before i could just scroll....

As much as I hate to, you have forced me to give up my yahoo mail account and switch everything over to Gmail. It will be a lot of work, but is the only way I will be able to use email. You take the cake with this dumb trick for sure.

give us the option to use the old version while you're playing around with this new basic. That's what you're doing, right? Because the changes you've made should be scrapped.

there is now ZERO way to get classic back and I am very mad about this. I've been a Yahoo! mail user forever and I do appreciate that they are constantly trying to improve and develop new UIs and processes for us, but to: 1. force it upon us in the first place and 2. to not even give users the option to switch to a more simplified version is just plain....stupid. Honestly, how much space/stress on the servers would it actually be to have the old yahoo mail as an option? Out of all total e-mail holders, the number of us who want it back can;t be THAT large so why not just let us have it?
