    o not make changes is how you improve. I liked my old settings dark screen with all the simple functions. these changes are NOT good at all

    What is the matter with you people at Yahoo? So arrogant! Change it on your own volition without giving the user a choice now? Not even a way to switch to Classic (a Desktop must) Switching to Classic is impossible as the gear icon on the left to access settings is now gone and using the 3 dots under the folder options on the right only lets you go to an inferior basic version where the compose page, for instance, doesn't even have a font, color, or emoji option! Do you have two year olds designing your platform now Yahoo? what a mess! Don't even have to look at these comments here Yahoo, there are complaints against Yahoo email posted all over the Web Put it back the way it was!!!

    I agree with all of the people on here that are complaining about the new version. It sucks. This is horrible. It's the same as the regular Yahoo site. If I wanted MSN on there I would sign into MSN. I don't want the look of GMail on Yahoo Mail. You guys are screwing up everything that was good about Yahoo by trying to be like everyone else. PUT IT ALL BACK THE WAY IT WAS AND LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!!!

    I have to keep looking for things because everything is in a different spot! And it's not an organized format! Let those of us who want the old format back have it please.

    Stop changing the basic mail! Give the option to go back!!! We are here because we like what you had. I can't choose a group of mail to delete or move to another folder like I used to with holding the shift key...you're making me click every single email separately...are you kidding!!!

    PLEASE GIVE US THE OPTION TO GO BACK!!!

    I can't even search emails per "to" or "from" anymore!!!! It's such a basic feature why was it removed?

    Agree with most (if not all) comments. This "New" version is disgusting. Don't fix what ain't broke. I've been a loyal Yahoo client for over 20 years but now I'm seriously consider changing. I've already explored others. I give you 7 days to go back or I'll go. You have been warned.

    Yes, it is horrible, gimmie back my dark mode on basic too! The web screen on the new one don't even match my resolution and I have to scroll zoom out to get everything to fit in screen.

    Who ever is changing the yahoo mail area is apparently HUA (Head up ***) your making it worse!!!!! I have to go through the steps TWICE to sign in and that is ridicules!!! ARE YOU PEOPLE TRYING TO DRIVE PEOPLE AWAY FROM YAHOO????????? IF SO YOUR DOING A GOOD JOB!!!!

    I'm thinking of swapping off Yahoo. I've always loved Yahoo but this new version is absolutely dispicable. And then the basic mail version is way worse than what we had before. I am disgusted.

    I am thinking of getting rid of my Yahoo account and going to another format/platform. I hate this!!! Put it back how it was. I keep trying to change back but it doesn't stay. I can't do setting, so I have email previews. Just about done with this mess.

    I do not like the new basic mail.
    Now it is more complicated to connect my other yahoo emails without having to exit the main email address. This new format is NOT an improvement.

    100% agree!! we like the old way. The worst is the attachments, this makes my tasks take longer! And the pages!! I hate that feature too.

    You are stupidly/ignorantly believing a new employee/adviser that you are "improving" YahooMail because they want to justify their existence. You are in fact making it more complicated and difficult for people who have been with you for decades to use. With something becomes too "clever" it becomes tiresome and you lose customer base. Your "new" version has lost much of it's old functionality. Where are my documents and pictures from the last two decades? I used to pull them up with a single click. now they are gone. I used to be able to cut and paste an image into an email. A fantastic attribute when trying to "show and tell" something. Now that is gone. You people suq big time.

    Need
    * editing options back when composing email.
    * to collapse folders as before.
    * settings to allow customization of view as before.
    * to be able to switch between all Yahoo email accounts without signing out of one and into another.
