Bring back classic Mail

Bring back my old classic Mail. This one is way too bright and distracting.

Yahoo mail now looks like it was drawn by a pre-school child. I absolutely hate it. I, and apparently many of your users, cannot understand why you feel the need to fix something that is NOT broken. At the very least you could make changes OPTIONAL. NO-ONE likes having anything forced on them.

I'm trying to understand why you changed basic email.
Back at the beginning of 2013 Yahoo had by far the best email service around. A few minor changes were made that reduced the experience. In May 2013 wholesale changes were made that were pretty unpopular. I grew to hate the new mail more and more so started using basic mail. It was better in virtually every single way. The only thing i missed was the tabs when opening messages, but i could go back to opening a new tab in a browser, so not so bad.
In the time since then, i've regularly returned to see see how the newest version of mail has changed. Every single time i've returned to basic mail as it always is by far the more user friendly and attractive version. For all the latest updates that may allow various "improvements", not one was worthy of me staying with the newest version.
Today i open my browser and low and behold, a new, uglier, and less friendly version of basic. It does nothing at all to improve my usage of email, yet there are certainly ways in which it makes my experience a little less pleasant.
My request would be to go back the design we had at the very start of 2013, Improvements could be made in the background, but the look and feel of that version was the best email in the history of the internet so far.
As it stands, nothing you do will make me use the newest version of Yahoo Mail, so why not allow us to keep basic mail as it was. We liked it enough to use it for years, despite the all singing all dancing newest version.Your disregard for the users of email is as bad as it has ever been. Sadly it's a story of the internet as a whole, especially when it comes to design. We, the people who have to use your **** designs are always ignored!

there are millions of us who cannot afford every new hardware upgrade that comes along. If you can't afford the new and "improved" hardware that facilitates all of the perceived program/app enhancements you can't use the new product even if you wanted to. I have an imminent failure warning on my main drive and have to use my older pc until I can save enough to either replace the drive or get a new/refurbished pc altogether. My older pc can't handle the heavy concentration of programming with your new product without freezing. In addition I don't need and won't be using 99% of all the new features. I predict that many companies who fail to acknowledge the truth of their users will in 2-3 years start to bottom out. You are becoming a rich people only company.

Someone start a facebook post for G-sake. Its obvious yahoo DONT READ their customer complaints. So POST it ALL over facebook how:
a) no-one listens to complaints
b) How broken/useless and "downgraded" this mail is
a few hundred thousand LIKES on the page might get something done. -

New mail keeps showing that I have mail, but I don't. I delete, but it won't wipe out the number of mail that I have. The number keeps growing, not getting smaller.

i am not getting the option "switch to full featured version" in the right side top corner of the basic mail version as shown in yahoo help center. please do make it easier for the users. hope you bring back the classic version itself. this new version seems to be too simpler, slower and consumes lots of time (literally wastes time).

The email compose screen jumps up so you can type but can't see what you're typing! Heck of a job guys.
But they're not reading this and taking what we say into consideration. At all. All we can do is either shift to another email or use Yahoo less.
Again, they are not and will not listen to us. The only thing they *might* notice, is if their email is used less. So use it less, or leave altogether.

Hate the new format. This morning selecting multiple messages and clicking "Delete" does NOTHING. No way to delete unwanted messages...

After a FWD it really needs to ask if you need to go back to messages? Really? Who came up with this additional step?

yahoo! just can't get off the failure train. (try listening and following user feedback, might just improve site, usage and $$$)
