    I HATE the new basic mail..Bring back the old one, there was nothing wrong with it. I did NOT ASK FOR THIS, I want my old one I'm used to back. WTH. WHY HAVE YOU SCREWED IT UP WHEN IT WASN'T BROKEN?? gahhhhhhhhhhhhh

    How do I get the old version of email back? I don't like this one. Geez what a pain just to get my point posted.

    The new layout isn't ideal for smaller screen resolutions, it takes up a bit more space than the old version. The colour scheme is a bit bright, too. I'd like a toned down version. I've been using Yahoo basic classic mail for decades, and it worked well enough.

    OMG, I wanted to insert my comments to an email WITHIN the text. First you have to click "edit." Why add an unnecessary step? But get this. I scrolled down to where I wanted to add my text and as I type, the screen lifts upward! I can still type but I can't see what I'm typing!

    If Yahoo's objective is to lose users, congratulations, it worked!

    I hate the new basic mail !! I like the old system its easier to use and makes more sense. Jus b/c some person at corporate thinks their ideas are better or the public will like their ideas is a FOOL'S GAME!! Besides YAHOO ain't that great anymore

    Sounds Good.....
    The new basic introduced today is similar to the one years ago, not sure maybe 7 or 8 years ago. The problem is that Yahoo kept changing continually. Who wants all that extra and complicated options.
    Please keep yahoo mail simple to use. The yahoo today MAY need very minor change(s) to make it the same as years ago? There is no need to introduce all those extra options to receive, compose and send an email to those listed on an email contact list.
    Finally some sanity, thank you....

    This new email screen is horrible. Everything blends together, no contrast. How about this idea, charge a nominal subscription for the classic version and force this **** on the people using the free version.
