How can we improve New Yahoo Mail Basic?

Group email not working

New mail cannot be sent to a new group
New mail cannot be sent to an old group
Existing contacts cannot be added to a new group
Existing contacts do not display group affiliations
I guess groups are not groups at Yahoo any longer. Maybe they are just there for decorations.

    It was so easy to make a group, so easy to put a new contact, in, why, why are you making this so much harder than it has ever been?????

    If it's not intuitive, tell us how to add contacts to special groups.. instructions should be part of that entry page.

    Must switch back to Basic mail to Add a Contact, so you are always switching back and forth anyhow. Stupid concept, not improved at all. Please fire the webmaster.

    CONTACTS: You broke it, now fix it.

    Yahoo's thoughtless designers lost business addresses and almost all details for all contacts.

    Your designer are naive and confused: E-mail contacts don't have to include someone's name--things like the HVAC company, the bank, the car dealership, the dentist's office...the list goes on.

    What Yahoo's designers did is lost lots of contacts I use. Like the dentist, the bank, the HVAC company...

    Worse,when I click CONTACTS there are phone numbers...in the NAME field? Really?

    Is there nobody at Yahoo who is overseeing this so-called upgrade? The loss in functionality and usefulness is apalling

    fix the contact list ~ it defaults to first name. The more you ***** with this program the worse it gets - I'm about to say goodbye

    How can I delete email addresses that pop up along with my contacts when I click "Compose?"

    If Yahoo wants to improve the process of sending & receiving emails that is one thing but to cross the line & interfere with personal data associated with contacts list is invasive !
    What does personal information, which includes birthday & anniversary dates have to do with sending or receiving emails ?? WTH ??
    Is your management staff new to earth ?? Did you give ANY consideration to an upfront explanation that this info would disappear ??

    If Yahoo wants to improve the *email* process that is one thing but why cross the line into another section of the book, like my contacts information & eliminate the data stored ?? Was in it your way ??
    That personal data had absolutely nothing to do with sending or receiving emails. WTH ??
    Is your management staff NEW to earth ??

    Need to be able to add members to an email group and insert group addresses in emails.

    I can't use groups when sending emails and I use this feature a lot. If it is not brought back soon, I will be switching my email. I have been putting up with it for a while, sent feedback and saw other people sending feedback that they do not like it. I thought with time this would be fixed in the new versions even if you can't bring back the old ones, and it is not and I am going to be done if this is not brought back.

    I can't update my phone number. It's not even in my account info. I can't create separate contact lists. I can't create new folders. The 'New' box isn't there. I don't like this new version at all! It's definitely not user friendly. Where's the 'other' box for contacting you with a problem?

    Can you not see that NOBODY likes this???? GIve us back our yahoo.com before we all decide to just dump you -- may be it is time. Cannot send to groups, and it doesn't even populate the address when you try to compose. This is absolutely STUPID. Been a customer for many years, but this is breaking the camel's back.

    Most contact details are missing. Items such as addresses (home, work, other), multiple phone numbers, birthdays, anniversaries, notes and much more that I used and need access to are gone.

    This group email malfunction, seem to be a recurring problem with Yahoo. I am thinking this organization is run by government bureaucrats, and not a competitive enterprise.

    With this new update, I can no longer compose messages to groups!! I have to enter the emails individually. Please fix this!
    When composing I can no longer x out unused or old email addresses that I want to stop popping up as suggestions.
    Also, all of my emails do not load on the first page, what is up with that? I just want the old email back, it never had these glitches!!
