No notice, Just was told I was switched to a new version bringing a bunch of enhancements... It's a pitty to say it and do it that way! Yahoo is going to lose a lot of users.
A dozen years I use it and had no need to change until I was switch to the 'New Basic Mail'... just not professional customer service and the worse email service. Poorer than Mail.com!

new system feedback
I remember the previous option of using the old system instead of switching to the new system. Since I'm not able to access my email contacts directly (entering the first few letters of the name and the email address comes up) as I was able to do under the old system, I want to resume using the old system. Thanks for your help to resolve this.

Allow persons to hit the delete button when you are in an email from the keyboard and go directly to the next message!!
You should be able to hit the delete key on the keyboard and be able to delete the message and it go directly to the next message rather than hit the delete (ie trashcan) and it just revert right back to the inbox. Doing this makes it harder to do things and it takes more time to go through messages and delete them!

I used to be able to "print" only the email message, not all the goop on the sides. the option print was under the "actions" menu. where

Please Put it back!!!!!.Reading and Sending Emai is difficult. Earlier contacts were auto pupulated. If not I will have to switch to gmail.
Worst Modification.Modification must be user friendly.Earlier contacts were auto populated while sending and forwarding.Now it needs to select.If you dont switch it back, I will have to switch over to gmail.

Unable to filter display for starred emails
What's the point of having the option to star an email, if there is no ability to filter the listing to display starred emails.
The current display filter options are: newest, oldest, attachments, and relevance. There used to be a filter option for starred. Please bring it back.
Or better yet, abandon this abomination of an email client and bring back Yahoo classic, which has this feature and 1,000 more features that the "New Yahoo Mail Basic" is missing.

All seems to be fine, however, under "Actions" there is not a "Block Contact" option. Some emails need to blocked.
Under "Actions" the "Block Contact" option needs to be listed. There are so many unwanted and sometimes offensive emails and spam that appears.

It asks if I want to download Chrome or Firefox. It's a work computer, I don't get to choose. I went through this at home with IE,

When something isn't broken and works, why to change or rearrange?? Every time it happens, it wastes my time just to adjust to unnecessary changes made, which makes me wonder if Yahoo staff suffering from OCD.
