When it comes to clean my inbox, I thick a great way to do it is if you can just by drag a selection on the checkbox or emails that youI want to be deleted will may the process faster

Can't see e-mail messages in the spam folder.
In the newest version I can't see any messages in the spam folder. When I click on the spam folder it tells me to select a message to put in the folder.

MAILBOX REALESTATE: Font Sizing & Spacing Between Items
My biggest point of pain with Yahoo Mail is with regard to how much screen space you take up. Even with the MOST compact settings, there is too much wasted "white" space. Mostly my complaint is top and bottom space, as opposed to horizontal space.
Banner is wasting space - esp. the ribbon that goes all the way across below the part of the banner that contains the "Find messages" search box.

2 of my 20-years mailboxes were purged by you within 1yr of my absent

Upon login to my mail yesterday 2/19/2020 after a while, I discovered that my email content have been cleared including those of my inbox, sent, document, photo, draft, folders, etc.
Having operated the email account for over 13 years, many of my research works have been sent, received or saved on this email. Those documents, however, are no longer on this email tray as all have been cleared. Contacts seem to be merged incorrectly
My dad and my nephew have the same first name, "James". My dad's contact has his middle maintained name so I can differentiate between them. When I search for "James" in my contacts only my dad's contact shows up in the search results. When I go to edit that contact it has my nephews birthday, not my dads.
My Yahoo contacts are synced to my android phone. When I look at my contacts on my phone, there is an entry for each of them and they have the correct birthday.
